STRIPPING TOOL
The present invention is related to a stripping tool for a cable the stripping tool including a cutting unit with at least one blade, a cable seat, and a kinematic structure. The kinematic structure is operatively coupled with the cutting unit to move a cable that is received by the cable seat and a cutting edge of the at least one blade with respect to each other radially to and rotationally around a tool axis. The invention is further related to a method for stripping a cable and a cable having a stripped cable end section.
Cable stripping tool and bi-directional cutting blade
A cable stripping tool is provided for making a circumferential or ring cut and a spiral cut in the jacket of a cable. A cutting blade of the tool includes first and second blade portions which are integrally formed with each other and are angled relative to each other. In use, after the cutting blade penetrates the jacket, the tool is rotated in a first direction and the first blade portion cuts the jacket to form a ring cut. The tool is then rotated in a second, opposite direction and the second blade portion cuts the jacket to form a spiral cut. Thereafter, the tool is rotated in the first direction and the first blade portion cuts the jacket to form a ring cut. The cuttings by the blade portions are done without disengaging the cutting blade from the cable.
Automatic removing apparatus for ring main unit cable head
The present invention discloses an automatic removing apparatus for ring main unit cable head which comprises an outer casing formed by a handle and an outer casing body; the outer casing body has a rear end which is fixedly connected to the handle; the outer casing body has a front end which is fixedly connected to a connecting head; a motor and a control chip connected to the motor are disposed inside the outer casing; the control chip is electrically connected to a battery for supplying power to the control chip and the motor; the motor has a rotation shaft which drives rotation of a main gear; the connecting head is fixedly connected to a removing rod; a follower gear which meshes with the main gear is fixedly disposed at the connecting head for rotating around the main gear. The present invention has the advantageous effect of enhancing working efficiency.
Cable stripper
A cable stripper may be provided. The cable stripper may comprise a stripper body, a trigger assembly, a cable support body, and a blade. The trigger assembly may be slidably engaged within the stripper body. The trigger assembly may comprise a trigger assembly block. The cable support body may be attached to the stripper body. The blade may be attached to a front of the stripper body and enclosed by the cable support body. The blade may extend into a cable opening in the apparatus. The trigger assembly block may press a cable against the blade. The cable may be in the cable opening. The blade may extend into a jacket of the cable without extending to a conductor of the cable.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TERMINATING CABLE
A system and a method for removing a portion of an electric submersible pump power cable conduit housing are provided. The method may include cutting a conduit housing of the conduit, sliding the cut conduit housing off the conduit, and squaring an end surface of remaining conduit housing. The cutting of the conduit housing is not a through cut and the sliding of the cut conduit housing off of the cut conduit is performed with a conduit housing spreader. The system may include a conduit housing cutter for cutting partially through the conduit housing of the conduit and a conduit housing spreader for pulling the portion of the conduit housing apart from a remaining conduit housing. In addition, the system may include a squaring tool to square an end surface of the remaining conduit housing relative to an axis of the conduit.

Multi-hole center-fed fiber optic stripping apparatus
A fiber optic stripping apparatus comprising a frame having an axis and a pair of outer arms extending from the axis, each arm pivotal about the axis and a pair of first blades each first blade having a first blade edge, each of the first blades attached to a corresponding frame arm with the first blade edge extending in the direction of the corresponding frame arm. The stripping apparatus includes a pair of second blades each second blade having a second blade edge, each of the second blades attached to a corresponding frame arm with the second blade edge extending transverse to the direction of the corresponding frame arm, the second blades each having a first set of notches forming a circle when the stripping apparatus is in a closed position and a second set of notches substantially forming a circle when the stripping apparatus is in the closed position.
System and Method for Connecting a Compression-Type Coupling to a Coated Conduit
A tool for removing a coating from an end of a coated conduit comprising a metallic conduit having an outer diameter and a polymeric material applied over the outer diameter thereof is provided. The tool comprises: a guide member having an outer diameter sized to fit within an internal diameter of the metallic conduit; and a cylindrical cutting member having a substantially closed first end rotatably connected to an arbor, a substantially open second end, and a plurality of teeth elements. The cylindrical cutting member has an inner diameter that is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the metallic conduit such that when the cylindrical cutting member is rotated, the teeth elements remove the polymeric material from the outer diameter of the metallic conduit.
Manually-operated wire stripper
A manually-operated wire stripper is a device for cutting and removing the electrical insulation from an electrical wire. The device includes a base plate onto which a first mounting plate and a second mounting plate are perpendicularly mounted. A first rod is rotatably mounted through the first mounting plate and the second mounting plate. A cutting assembly is mounted for longitudinal movement to the first rod and may be moved into position such that a blade of the cutting assembly is aligned with a selected slot from a plurality of wire slots traversing through the base plate. An electrical wire may be stripped by inserting the electrical wire through the selected slot, creating a cut in the electrical insulation with the blade, and then manually pulling the electrical wire through the selected slot to remove the electrical insulation along the length of the electrical wire.
A CABLE STRIPPING TOOL FOR ELECTRICAL CABLES
A cable stripping tool for use with electrical cables comprising an inner core and at least one outer sheath. The cable stripper includes a body including a cable retaining portion having a rotational axis defined therethrough. The cable retaining portion is configured to receive a cable such that its longitudinal axis is coaxial with the rotational axis. The cable stripper also includes first and second cutting blades movable transversely relative to the rotational axis between a retracted position and a cutting position, the cutting blades each having a blade edge. The blade edges of the first and second blades are axially spaced from each other relative to the rotational axis and are arranged such that in the cutting position the first cutting blade is spaced a first radial distance from the rotational axis and the second blade is spaced a second radial distance from the rotational axis that is greater than the first radial distance. The cable stripping tool is rotatable about the rotational axis when the cutting blades are in the cutting position to cause the blades to cut around the entire circumference of the cable.
