Quick lock system for joining and aligning tubes, conduits and junction boxes

A connecting system for quickly securing a hollow tube to a structure or to another hollow tube using a connector that has a housing with a tapered interior edge that operably engages a locking element positioned therein. When the tube is inserted into the locking element, the locking element holds and locks the tube in place in the connector. A guide ring may be provided within the connector to facilitate proper alignment of the tube within the connector and provide excellent electrical conductivity throughout the entire tube connecting system. One or more bearings may be provided as part of the locking element to facilitate initial tube insertion and then compression locking of the tube by the locking element. The connector can include a variety of structure engaging portions to allow the connector to be operably secured to a variety of structures such as electrical junction boxes, electrical conduits, tubes, armored cables, metal clad cables, flexible metal cables and the like.

The invention relates to a cable bushing with shielding and sealing properties for connection to a wall having an opening, said cable bushing comprising a sealing element and a shielding element in which, in turn, one or more cables can be received in perforations and/or penetration zones.

The cable bushing according to the invention is characterized in that the sealing element and the shielding element are formed from an elastomer as a one-piece, at least partially electrically conductive receiving element for the at least one cable.

PLUG COUPLING WITH STRAIN RELIEF FOR A CONNECTING CABLE

A strain relief arrangement (4) for a connecting cable (2) has a threaded pin (12), clamping tongues (13), a union nut (3), an enlarged diameter (10, 11) on the threaded pin (12), an extension (15), and a passage bore (25) for the connecting cable (2). By screwing of the union nut (3) onto the threaded pin (12), the clamping tongues (13) move inward and press against the connecting cable (2) for strain relief. The extension (15) is non-round, and an opening (6) of a carrier element (5) is complementary (7, 8) to the extension (15). An enlarged region (16) of the extension (15) has a circumferential groove (20) adjacent to the enlarged diameter (10, 11). The extension (15) can be introduced into the opening (6) of the carrier element (5) and can be fastened by rotation in the opening (6).

Ninety degree snap fit electrical fitting for connection of electrical cables to an electrical box

A ninety degree snap fit electrical fitting for enabling rapid snap-fit insertion of an electrical cable to an electrical box. The ninety degree snap fit electrical fitting includes a connector body having a leading end, a trailing end, an internal bore, a box connection arrangement on the leading end, and a cable connection arrangement on the trailing end. A seat on the leading end of the connector body includes a snap ring with an outward extending locking tang. An internal snap ring is secured within the internal bore of the connector body at the trailing end. A cable retaining tang on the internal snap ring is adapted to engage and secure an electrical cable to the trailing end of the connector body.
