LIGHTING JUNCTION BOX
A lighting-junction-box-assembly-for-remodel (hereinafter, “assembly”) has a lighting-junction-box, leg-springs attached to the lighting-junction-box, and mounting-tabs attached to the lighting-junction-box. The leg-springs are used to (temporarily) hold (by friction) the assembly within a hole in an existing ceiling, sized to fit the assembly. While the leg-springs are (temporarily) holding the assembly within the hole in the existing ceiling, other/different holes within extension-portions of the mounting-tabs are used to secure the entire assembly to the existing ceiling, via mechanical fasteners passing through the extension-portion holes and into the existing ceiling. An existing ceiling may be retrofitted with this assembly to have a lighting-junction-box where desired/needed in that existing ceiling; and as such, this assembly is particularly useful in remodeling situations (applications); however, the assembly may also be used in new construction.
BRACKET MOUNTABLE ELECTRICAL BOX
A bracket mountable electrical box having a mounting assembly or device that can secure the electrical box to a mounting bracket. The mounting assembly or device can include one more arms that can define at least a portion of a channel that can receive the mounting bracket. The channel can be selectively closed, or at least partially deformable, in a manner that can assist in retaining the engagement between the mounting bracket and the mounting assembly or device, and thus the electrical box. Such configurations can accommodate securing the electrical box to the mounting bracket without at least the use of additional tools.
Electrical accessories and associated methods of use and manufacture
Electrical accessories and associated methods of use and manufacture are provided. In one embodiment, an electrical accessory can be provided. The electrical accessory can include a frame including two side walls in parallel relation to each other, and two end walls in parallel relation to each other, and disposed between the two side walls. The electrical accessory can also include at least one positioning arm mounted to at least one of the end walls, wherein the at least one positioning arm comprises a support leg mounted to the at least one end wall, and a prong substantially perpendicular to the at least one positioning arm, wherein a side wall portion of an adjacent electrical accessory can be positioned between the prong and at least one side wall.
Weather-proof junction box with pan for circuit board
A curb and cap junction box assembly protecting joined electrical conductors includes a curb member with a planar flashing and central housing extending upwardly from the flashing, forming an enclosed space. The central housing has top and bottom openings. A plate, secured over the bottom opening has a knockout section and a mounting pan for circuit boards. A cap member has a planar top and peripheral edge extending downward. The cap member reversibly fastens over the top opening of the central housing. The junction box assembly is secured to a structure by the flashing and receives an electrical conductor from the structure through the knockout aperture in the plate member. The electrical conductor extends through the top opening of the central housing and under the downward extending peripheral edge of the cap member and outside the junction box assembly. The junction box provides enclosure for high voltage applications.
Extender For Surface Mount Light Fixtures
A light fixture mounting assembly comprises an extender and a bracket. The extender comprises a junction box end configured to couple to a junction box, a fixture end located a distance from the junction box end, a perimeter wall extending from the junction box end to the fixture end, and a first set of screw holes formed within the junction box end or the fixture end. The bracket comprises a raised portion and one or more flange portions coupled to the raised portion. The one or more flange portions have a second set of screw holes formed therein. The one or more flange portions are disposed against the fixture end of the extender. The raised portion is disposed through an opening formed in the extender, and the second set of screw holes of the bracket is aligned with the first set of screw holes.
ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION HOUSING
An electrical installation housing has a top wall, a left side wall, the right side wall, a bottom wall, a rear wall, and a rear beveled wall. A first mounting flange extends from the right side wall. The first mounting flange includes a first mounting flange hole. A second mounting flange extends from the right side wall. The second mounting flange includes a second mounting flange hole. A third mounting flange extends from the left side wall. The third mounting flange includes a third mounting flange hole. A fourth mounting flange extends from the left side wall. The fourth mounting flange includes a fourth mounting flange hole.
Resilient aperture cover for electrical box
An electrical box assembly includes an electrical box structure including an interior defined by a plurality of walls with an aperture formed through one of the walls for providing access to the interior of the box structure. An aperture cover extends over the aperture. The aperture is formed from a resiliently flexible material and includes a slit forming feature for prescribing a location of a slit for selectively providing access to the interior of the electrical box structure. The resiliency of the aperture cover urges the aperture cover to a closed position of the slit to minimize air passage through the aperture cover.
Bushing housing
A bushing housing (1) for leading one or more lines and/or cables out of or into a closed area comprises a housing member (2) and a matching removable housing cover (3). The housing member (2) has a breakthrough hole (5) and at least one exit hole (6, 6′), the planes of which extend substantially perpendicularly to each other.
Water-proofing and fire-proofing combined flashing and electrical junction box system
A combined flashing and electrical junction box system includes an enclosure subsystem and an expanse subsystem. Preferably, the enclosure subsystem and said expanse subsystem are both fireproof and waterproof.
Modular wall mount enclosure
A modular, non-metallic enclosure with a first enclosure having an open end between first and second side panels and a second enclosure having an open end between third and fourth side panels. At the open end of the first enclosure, the first and second side panels each include a guide rail having a male guiderail member and a female guiderail channel. At the open end of the second enclosure, the third and fourth side panels each include a guide rail having a male guiderail member and a female guiderail channel. The male guiderail member/female guiderail channel of the first sidewall are configured to engage with the opposite of the male guiderail member/female guiderail channel of the third side wall. The male guiderail member/female guiderail channel of the second sidewall are configured to engage with the opposite of the male guiderail member/female guiderail channel of the fourth side panel.
