BRACKET FOR ADJUSTABLE-DEPTH MOUNTING OF ELECTRICAL BOXES
A bracket for adjustable-depth mounting of an electrical box relative to a support structure can include a support body and a support arm. The support body can be configured to be secured to the support structure. A fastener can be retained on the support arm and can be adjusted relative to the support arm to move the electrical box to be secured at any of a plurality of depths relative to the support body.
ADJUSTABLE ELECTRICAL FIXTURE MOUNTING ASSEMBLY
A mounting assembly is provided for quick and easy attachment to engineered joists. The mounting assembly includes a brace assembly and a mounting bracket. The mounting assembly may also include an electrical box. The brace assembly is an adjustable member that extends between flanges of engineered ceiling joists. The brace assembly has two low profile end caps that can engage the flanges of engineered ceiling joists and apply a force against the flanges when tightened. The mounting bracket is connected to a hanger body of the brace assembly by a snap fit and the electrical box is attached to the mounting bracket.
Adjustable hanger bar assembly
A hanger bar assembly comprises a first hanger bar, a second hanger bar, and a hanger bar holder. The first hanger bar and the second hanger bar are mechanically coupled where the first hanger bar slides relative to the second hang bar in a telescopic manner. The first hanger bar and the second hanger bar both include an interlocking structure that interlocks the first hanger bar with the second hanger bar, reducing lateral movement, such as backlash or slop. The hanger bar holder is used to hold at least one of the first hanger bar or the second hanger bar. The hanger bar holder includes a first section to guide at least the first hanger bar and a second section to guide at least the second hanger bar. The first section and the second section also constrain lateral movement of the first hanger bar and the second hanger bar, respectively.
Electrical box with movable access panel
An improved access electrical box for housing electrical connections for integration with an electrical system having a conduit and a plurality of conduit wires, the electrical box comprising a plurality of box panels forming an interior space and a front opening, the electrical box further has a top opening, and a movable access panel which selectively covers and uncovers the top opening and has a wiring aperture which allows the conduit wires to be inserted into the interior space, the electric box further has an installed device having device wires, which is secured within the front opening such that the device wires extend into the interior space, the movable access panel allows a user to splice the device wires and the conduit wires through the top opening to complete the electrical connections, and is further adapted to enclose the electrical connections when the movable panel is a closed position.
Recessed equipment boxes and related assemblies and methods
An equipment box assembly includes a housing including a back wall, a bottom wall, a top wall, and first and second sidewalls defining a cavity. At least one mounting feature is on each of the first and second sidewalls. The housing is sized to fit between first and second adjacent studs with the first sidewall mounted to the first stud using the at least one mounting feature on the first sidewall and with the second sidewall mounted to the second stud using the at least one mounting feature on the second sidewall.
Adjustable support bracket for electrical devices
A bracket for supporting at least one electrical device includes a pair of legs engaging one another in an interlocking manner. Each of the legs includes an end portion and a pair of rails connected to the associated end portion, and each end portion is configured to be secured to a support member. Each pair of rails extends from the associated end portion in a parallel orientation, and the rails are laterally spaced apart from one another. The pair of rails of one leg is coupled to the pair of rails of the other leg and the pair of rails of the one leg is slidable relative to the pair of rails of the other leg to change the distance between the end portions.
TELESCOPING BOX SUPPORT
The present disclosure generally relates to a telescoping support bracket, a box bracket, a conduit support bracket, and a floor support bracket. The telescoping support bracket generally comprises telescoping arms that allow the length of the bracket to be adjusted. A method of installing the telescoping support bracket is also provided.
Hinged mud ring assembly
A mud ring assembly for supporting an electrical device including a base member configured to be coupled to a junction box having a first corner and a second corner. The base member has a perimeter configured to extend around the first corner and not reach the second corner so that the base member is not positioned above the second corner. The mud ring assembly also includes a movable member configured to support the electrical device. The movable member is pivotably connected to the base member and pivotable relative to the base member between a closed position in which a back of the electrical device is enclosed in the junction box and an open position permitting access to the back of the electrical device. The movable member is couplable at a second portion of the junction box to selectively secure the movable member in the closed position.
Flexible electrical receptacle system and method for installation thereof
A flexible electrical receptacle system and method for installation is provided. The system includes at least two support bars affixed parallel to one another between two wall support members. A central bar is positioned between the two support bars and configured to move along a length of the parallel support bars. An electrical receptacle affixed to the central bar and configured to move along a length of the central bar.
BRACKET SYSTEM FOR MOUNTING ELECTRICAL BOXES
A bracket system for mounting an electrical box and other components to a ceiling structure can include a support bar and a mounting bracket. The mounting bracket can be configured to receive an end of the support bar and selectively secure the support bar at any of a plurality of positions relative to the mounting bracket.
