FORCE-MEASURING APPARATUS
The invention relates to apparatus to be worn at or adjacent to the knee joint of a person to detect the impact effect of forces applied to the knee joint and, as a result of the detection, and typically analysis of information relating to the person wearing the apparatus, feedback information is provided to the person, in one embodiment during the time when the apparatus is being worn, so as to provide timely feedback to the person wearing the apparatus of the impact on the PF joint. The person wearing the apparatus or monitoring the same can use the feedback whilst the apparatus is being worn, in order to allow the person to change their movement or stop their movement with immediate effect and thereby prevent or minimise the risk of the injury occurring.
ADAPTIVE COMPRESSION THERAPY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems, devices and methods for providing active and/or passive compression therapy to a body part can include a compression device worn over a compression stocking. The compression device can have a pulley based drive train that is driven by a motor to tighten and loosen compression elements, such as compression straps, in a precise, rapid, and balanced manner. Sensors can be used in the compression device and/or compression stockings to provide feedback to modulate the compression treatment parameters.

The invention relates to a method for evaluating usage data of at least one orthopaedic device which is equipped with sensors for detecting properties, states, or changes in properties or states, wherein the sensors are connected to a transmitter directly or via a storage device and the transmitter transmits the sensor data provided by the sensors to an evaluation unit in a computer network in which the sensor data is processed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PHYSIOLOGY MONITORING KNEE BRACE
A knee brace is provided for monitoring the knee. The knee brace includes a dock for removably receiving a control module. The control module is electrically coupled with the dock when the control module is received in the dock. The knee brace includes a sensor for measuring a physiological state of the wearer. The sensor is electrically coupled to the control module by way of the first conductive path when the control module is received in the dock.
Information processing apparatus and operating method thereof
A method of operating an information processing apparatus may include collecting gait information of a walking assistance apparatus; determining a gait feature of a user of the walking assistance apparatus based on the collected gait information; and controlling the walking assistance apparatus by determining a gait group of the user based on the determined gait feature.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING AND MONITORING MEDICAL DEVICES
Medical devices are provided, comprising a medical device and a sensor.
Adjustable and Detachable Cast with Pressure Sensor
A cast equipment including a fixed element, a filling device with a first site fastened to the fixed element, and a pressure sensor attached to the filling device is disclosed in this application. The pressure sensor is able to detect and collect pressure data, and the fixed element has a first container and a shape-retaining moldable material inside the first container. The present application provides an equipment to detect a pressure data to a casted region. A method for using the cast equipment is also provided in this application.
Cervical Spine Rehabilitation Adjustment Device
The present invention provides a vertebrae adjustment device comprising a weight pocket, fixing rings, connection rings, a first fixing belt and a second fixing belt. The weight pocket is divided into a plurality of separations by connecting parts, and weight blocks are loaded into the plurality of separations. The first fixing belt has two first fixing sections and a through hole; wherein the two first fixing sections are respectively disposed at the front ends of the two bifurcated extensions of the first fixing belt, and fixed on the two first fixing rings respectively, and the through hole is provided on the rear end of the first fixing belt. The second fixing belt has two second fixing sections respectively disposed on both ends of the second fixing belt, and the second fixing belt passes through the through hole and is fixed on the two connecting rings.
Walking assistance apparatus
A walking assistance apparatus includes a knee fastener, a heel fastener, a first wire and a second wire connected to the knee fastener and the heel fastener, a first motor connected to the first wire, a second motor connected to the second wire, and a control circuit that controls the first motor and the second motor. The first wire is connected to a first position included in a right-half region of the heel fastener. The second wire is connected to a second position included in a left-half region of the heel fastener. The control circuit acquires gait information of the user, and, based on the gait information, the control circuit controls the first motor to reduce a length of the first wire and the second motor to reduce a length of the second wire at a predetermined timing.
Methods for determining the size of body parts as part of compression therapy procedures
Methods are disclosed for measuring the size of body parts treated by a compression therapy device. Either the volume or circumference of the body part may be measured. The methods may include evacuating an inflatable compression sleeve to a known pressure, inserting the body part into the compression sleeve, inflating the sleeve to a pre-set condition, and then measuring one or more inflation related parameters. The pre-set conditions may include a pre-determined pressure, volume, or size of the inflatable cells comprising the sleeve. The inflation related parameters may include the time to fill the cell to a pre-set pressure, the pressure attained after a pre-set time of inflation, or the measured volume of a cell after a pre-set amount of air is introduced into it. The methods may also include deflating the cells from the known inflation state to a second inflation state and measuring similar parameters.
