A body temperature measurement method applied to a wrist wearable device includes, when a body temperature of a user is measured, measuring a first temperature at a forehead of the user using a temperature sensor, and measuring a second temperature at a wrist of the user is using a second temperature sensor at a relatively close time. Through calculation, a third temperature associated with the first temperature is displayed on a display. A fourth temperature at the wrist is then measured using the second temperature sensor. When the fourth temperature is the same as the second temperature, the third temperature is displayed on the display according to the foregoing relationship.

Non-invasive blood pressure measurement

A non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) measurement system that includes a blood pressure cuff and a non-invasive blood pressure monitor. The blood pressure cuff including an inner portion that is selectively inflatable and an outer portion that is rigid or semi-rigid. The outer portion reducing external stimuli on the inner portion. The inner portion connected to a sensor coupled to the NIBP monitor, the sensor sensing a pressure of the inner portion. The NIBP monitor receiving the sensor data and processing the sensor data to determine a blood pressure of a patient about which the blood pressure cuff has been placed.

BIOELECTRODE, PRODUCTION METHOD AND INSTALLATION METHOD FOR BIOELECTRODE

A bioelectrode in which an electrode layer can deform in association with the unevenness of the installation surface of the biological surface so as to adhere to the installation surface, and which can be easily transported and stored, a production method and an installation method for the bioelectrode. It is a bioelectrode in which a flexible electrode that is to directly contact a biological surface is formed from an electrode layer that includes a conductive polymer and deforms in association with an installation surface of the biological surface so as to adhere to the installation surface, and an elastomer layer that is layered on one surface side of the electrode layer and deforms in association with the installation surface and the electrode layer, wherein the flexible electrode is bonded to a water-permeable layer that serves as a support via a water-soluble sacrificial layer that includes a water-soluble material.

TRACKING AND REWARDING HEALTH AND FITNESS ACTIVITIES USING BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
20220384027 · 2022-12-01 ·

Systems and methods are disclosed that facilitate tracking and rewarding health and fitness activities of users using blockchain technology. In an aspect, a system comprises a non-transitory memory comprising instructions, and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read the instructions to cause the system to perform operations. The operations comprise receiving health and fitness information for entities, employing a blockchain network to store the health and fitness information for the entities, and sending a non-fungible token (NFT) to an entity of the entities in response to a subset of the health and fitness information associated with the entity satisfying a criterion.

Fluid bladder, blood pressure measurement cuff, blood pressure monitor, and blood pressure measurement method

A blood pressure measurement method includes wrapping a cuff around a site. The cuff includes: a first bladder that swells due to receiving fluid and is arranged at an outer surface of the site that corresponds to a first half surface where an artery is; and a second bladder that swells due to receiving fluid and is arranged at the outer circumferential surface of the measurement site that corresponds to a second half surface opposite to the first half surface. During inflation, the pressure of the second bladder is made larger than the first bladder by supplying more fluid such that the stroke amount by which the second fluid bladder swells is larger in the thickness direction. Then, the two bladders are inflated at equal rates. In the process of inflating, or in the process of deflating at rates equal to each other after inflating, blood pressure is measured.
