SENSOR APPARATUS AND MEASUREMENT APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A sensor apparatus is provided, including: a hollow cylindrical sleeve having a first side and a second side disposed on two end openings thereof, respectively; an electrode disposed on the first side of the sleeve for measuring a signal; a conductive line electrically connected to the electrode for transmitting the signal measured by the electrode; and a siphoning portion having a suction port connected and tightly sealed with the second side of the sleeve and an outlet port for discharging gas from the sleeve, thus creating a vacuum effect to enable the electrode to be sucked to the head of a subject. Therefore, the present invention avoids the conventional drawback of discomfort of the subject caused by the use of a conductive material.
ULTRASOUND ENDOSCOPE, SUCTION APPARATUS FOR ULTRASOUND ENDOSCOPE, AND ULTRASOUND ENDOSCOPE SYSTEM
An ultrasound endoscope includes: an ultrasound probe arranged in a distal end rigid portion; a suction and forceps port provided in a vicinity of the ultrasound probe; a treatment instrument insertion channel and a negative pressure channel communicating with the suction and forceps port; and a control valve configured to variably regulate a negative pressure for suction that is transmitted to the suction and forceps port through the treatment instrument insertion channel and the negative pressure channel to two or more states.
Devices And Methods For Tissue Immobilization And Non-Invasive Lower Urinary Tract Analysis
Provided are devices and methods suitable for immobilizing tissue and for use in non-invasive methods of assessing lower urinary tract symptoms as well as in surgical application.
Vacuum dressing with atmospheric control feedback
Percutaneous access devices (PAD), bandages, or other implantable medical devices are provided that are equipped with filters, environmental controls, and sensors that promote the formation of a natural biologic seal between the skin and the device to form a barrier to microbial invasion into the body. Levels of humidity and pressure are monitored and dynamically controlled to optimize wound closure about an implanted device or when a PAD is not present a wound itself. Methods and systems for actively assessing wound closure are incorporated into the design of percutaneous skin access devices (PAD), bone anchors, or a wound dressing or bandage alone without at PAD. Pressure and humidity sensors provide active feedback for making changes to the ecology of the wound site or PAD insertion site. A filter is used to aerate the wound while also preventing pathogens in the ambient air from reaching the wound.
Biomonitoring systems and methods of loading and releasing the same
A system and method for monitoring body chemistry of a user, the system comprising: a housing supporting: a microsensor comprising a first and second working electrode, a reference electrode, and a counter electrode, and configured to access interstitial fluid of the user, and an electronics subsystem comprising a signal conditioning module that receives a signal stream, from the microsensor, wherein the electronics subsystem is configured to detect an impedance signal derived from two of the first working electrode, the second working electrode, the reference electrode, and the counter electrode; and a processing subsystem comprising: a first module configured to generate an analysis indicative of an analyte parameter of the user and derived from the signal stream and the impedance signal, and a second module configured to transmit information derived from the analysis to the user, thereby facilitating monitoring of body chemistry of the user.
ELECTROCARDIOGRAM-PHONOCARDIOGRAM SYNCHRONOUS ACQUISITION DEVICE AND ELECTROCARDIOGRAM-PHONOCARDIOGRAM DETECTION SYSTEM
An electrocardiogram (ECG)-phonocardiogram (PCG) synchronous acquisition device and an ECG-PCG detection system are provided. The ECG-PCG synchronous acquisition device includes a conductive adsorption unit configured to be absorbed to human skin; and an acquisition unit connected to the conductive adsorption unit. The acquisition unit is configured to acquire ECG signals directly, and simultaneously acquire PCG signals through the conductive adsorption unit. The ECG-PCG synchronous acquisition device and the ECG-PCG detection system are used to solve the technical problem of low efficiency in synchronously acquiring electrocardiogram signals and heart sound signals in the related art.
Pressure measurement device
A bladder pressure measurement device comprises a conduit for receiving a flow of urine, a valve actuatable between a first open configuration and a second restricted configuration, a pressure sensor, upstream of the valve and arranged to measure the pressure of the flow of urine through the conduit, and a data recorder and/or a data transmitter. The pressure sensor obtains a first measurement when the valve is in the first open configuration and a second measurement when the valve is in the second restricted configuration. The data recorder and/or transmitter records or transmits data representative of the first and second measurements.
