ANCHORS AND WIRELESS SENSOR ATTACHMENT
Various aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward apparatuses. systems. and methods that include a catheter-delivered implantable hemodynamic monitor (IHM) implant system with an implantable sensor.
IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICES AND WIRELESS SENSOR ATTACHMENT
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to implantable medical devices configured to be implanted within a heart with anchor arrangements that reduce or eliminate signal transmission interference of the sensor. The implantable medical devices may include a sensor configured to sense physiological parameters of the heart and a housing comprising a transmitter and an antenna. An anchoring device formed by one or more wound wires including an engagement component is arranged around at least a portion of the housing a first frame component, a second frame component. The first frame component, the second frame component, or the first frame component and the second frame component comprise a first end separated from a second end to form a discontinuous loop and are formed from a conductive material.
Physiological electrode assembly for fast application
The present invention relates to a physiological recording electrode, and, more particularly, to an EEG (electroencephalography) recording electrode that can be used without the need for numerous steps in preparing the subject's skin and the electrode itself. The invention further relates to a surface feature or penetrator with a size and shape which that will not bend or break, which limits the depth of application, and/or anchors the electrode or other device during normal application; and a packaging system comprising a well and electrolytic fluid for maintaining a coating of said electrolytic fluid on the surface feature or penetrator.
Method and system for identifying a location for nerve stimulation
A system and method for identifying a stimulation location on a nerve is disclosed. The system includes an image-based navigation interface used to facilitate advancing a stimulation element within a patient body toward a target nerve stimulation site. Using the system one determines, separately for each potential target nerve stimulation site, a neuromuscular response of muscles produced upon applying a stimulation signal at the respective separate potential target stimulation sites. The image-based navigation interface is configured to display a graphic identification of which muscles were activated for each respective potential target nerve stimulation site upon applying the stimulation signal.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURING A TISSUE SITE TO A SENSOR
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for enabling non-invasive, physiological sensors to obtain physiological measurements from a region of tissue of a patient are disclosed. Anchoring components can attach to patient tissue sites and sensor heads such that the tissue sites do not move during sensing. Interlocking mechanisms maintain tissue sites within a limited range of horizontal movement and vertical distance from the sensor head.
Modular physiologic monitoring systems, kits, and methods
Systems, devices, methods, and kits for monitoring one or more physiologic and/or physical signals from a subject are disclosed. A system including patches and corresponding modules for wirelessly monitoring physiologic and/or physical signals is disclosed. A service system for managing the collection of physiologic data from a customer is disclosed. An isolating patch for providing a barrier between a handheld monitoring device with a plurality of contact pads and a subject is disclosed.
TRANSDERMAL SENSING PROBES AND SMART PATCH SYSTEMS USING SAME
An apparatus includes a substrate mechanically and electrically connected on one side of the substrate to multiple metallic probes in one or more arrays and includes the multiple metallic probes in the one or more arrays. In a method, multiple pits may be formed in an array on a first substrate. The pits have a pyramidal shape. A release layer is formed on the first substrate and covers surfaces of the pits. Probe tips are formed in the pits on the first substrate. The probe tips are formed from rigid conductive material. Multiple pillars are formed from rigid conductive material. The pillars are electrically and mechanically connected to a second substrate and to the probe tips. Release is caused of the probe tips from the first substrate, wherein the pillars and probe tips are connected to the second substrate and together form an array of rigid and conductive probes.

Electrical apparatus and methods for an eye
Disclosed is electrical stimulation apparatus and an associated method for delivering therapy to an eye of a patient is disclosed, the apparatus comprising: an implantable device comprising one or more electrodes for delivering therapeutic electrical stimulation to the eye, the implantable device being configured for implanting in a suprachoroidal space between the sclera and choroid layers of the eye. Also disclosed is electroretinography (ERG) apparatus for monitoring an eye of a patient, the apparatus comprising: an implantable device comprising one or more electrodes for monitoring properties of the eye, the implantable device being configured for implanting in a suprachoroidal space between the sclera and choroid layers of the eye. Also disclosed are implantable devices, apparatuses and methods for the eye.
SKIN SCREW ELECTRODES
Electrodes providing excellent recording and physical stability. Electrodes are disclosed that may include a plurality of small teeth that possess a novel design shape and orientation. The shallow and relatively long teeth run parallel to the rim of the electrode that presses against the patient's skin. When the electrode is twisted onto skin, the tiny teeth penetrate the stratum corneum and move nearly horizontally under the stratum corneum, thus anchoring the electrode securely to the skin. The electrodes cause minimal discomfort to the patient since the small teeth do not extend to the pain fibers which are located in deeper layers of the skin. The electrodes may be fabricated in a variety of geometries including cylindrical, disk, and blunt bullet or top shapes. In some instances, the electrodes may be connected to detachable leads having magnetic properties.
