DEVICE FOR SECURING ADDITIONAL DEVICES IN AN EYE WITHOUT INTERFERING WITH VISION

An eye implantation device has a body including a support system adapted to engage at three points with an iridocorneal angle of an anterior chamber of an eye into which the device is implanted.

METHOD FOR SECURING ADDITIONAL DEVICES IN AN EYE WITHOUT INTERFERING WITH VISION

A method of implanting includes steps of making a corneal incision of the eye, inserting the eye implantation device into the eye through the corneal incision and securing the eye implantation device by engaging the eye implantation device at three points with the iridocorneal angle of the anterior chamber of the eye into which the device is implanted.

Physiological electrode assembly for fast application

The present invention relates to a physiological recording electrode, and, more particularly, to an EEG (electroencephalography) recording electrode that can be used without the need for numerous steps in preparing the subject's skin and the electrode itself. The invention further relates to a surface feature or penetrator with a size and shape which that will not bend or break, which limits the depth of application, and/or anchors the electrode or other device during normal application; and a packaging system comprising a well and electrolytic fluid for maintaining a coating of said electrolytic fluid on the surface feature or penetrator.

ELECTRODE APPARATUS AND MEASUREMENT METHOD THEREOF
20210259635 · 2021-08-26 ·

An electrode apparatus is applicable on a skin with hair of a mammal for measuring an electrical bio-signal. The electrode apparatus comprises cylindrical chambers, each of which comprises a wall, which forms a cavity within the cylindrical chambers, a roof at a first end of each of said cylindrical chambers, a second end of said cylindrical chambers opposite to the first end being open, and at least one electrode. An elongated structure is located within each of the cylindrical chambers, and comprises a first portion parallel to a central axis of a cylindrical chamber within which it is. A first end of the elongated structure, the first end of the elongated structure belonging to the first portion, is attached to the roof. At least one second portion, each comprising a second end opposite to the first end, deviates from a direction of the central axis of a cylindrical chamber within which it is. The elongated structure rotatable in order to bundle hair when applied to the mammal so as to improve a contact of the electrode with the skin of the mammal.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURING A TISSUE SITE TO A SENSOR
20210275101 · 2021-09-09 ·

Systems, methods, and apparatuses for enabling non-invasive, physiological sensors to obtain physiological measurements from a region of tissue of a patient are disclosed. Anchoring components can attach to patient tissue sites and sensor heads such that the tissue sites do not move during sensing. Interlocking mechanisms maintain tissue sites within a limited range of horizontal movement and vertical distance from the sensor head.

Delivery of electrode gel using CPR puck

An electrode assembly includes a first surface to be placed adjacent a person's skin and a second surface including a plurality of reservoirs of conductive gel. The plurality of reservoirs of conductive gel are disposed on sections of the electrode assembly that are at least partially physically separated and may move at least partially independently of one another to conform to contours of a body of a patient. The electrode assembly is configured to dispense an amount of the electrically conductive gel onto the first surface in response to an activation signal and to provide for a defibrillating shock to be applied to the patient through the amount of the electrically conductive gel.

Self-contained EEG recording system

Disclosed systems include a self-contained electroencephalogram (EEG) recording patch comprising a first electrode, a second electrode and wherein the first and second electrodes cooperate to measure a skin-electrode impedance, a substrate containing circuitry for generating an EEG signal from the measured skin-electrode impedance, amplifying the EEG signal, digitizing the EEG signal, and retrievably storing the EGG signal. The patch also comprises a power source and an enclosure that houses the substrate, the power source, and the first and second electrodes in a unitary package.

ORTHOPEDIC SYSTEM FOR PRE-OPERATIVE, INTRA-OPERATIVE, AND POST-OPERATIVE ASSESSMENT

An orthopedic system configured for use in a pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative assessment. The orthopedic system comprises a first screw, a second screw, a first device, a second device, and a computer. The first device and the second device are respectively coupled to a first bone and a second bone of a musculoskeletal system. The first and second devices each include electronic circuitry, one or more sensors, and an IMU. A bracket, wrap, or sleeve can be used to hold the first and second devices to the musculoskeletal system. The first and second devices are configured to send measurement data to a computer. The first and second devices each have an antenna system. Electronic circuitry in the first or second devices are configured to harvest energy from a received radio frequency signal to recharge a battery to maintain operation.
