The apparatuses, systems, and methods may include a first electrode and a second electrode and a scaffold assembly configured to support the first electrode and the second electrode.

Ambulatory monitoring of physiologic response to Valsalva maneuver

Systems and methods for monitoring physiologic response to Valsalva maneuver (VM) are disclosed. An exemplary patient monitor may detect a natural incidence of a VM session occurred in an ambulatory setting using a heart sound (HS) signal sensed from the patient. The patient monitor may include a physiologic response analyzer to sense patient physiologic response during the detected VM session, and generate a cardiovascular or autonomic function indicator based on the sensed physiologic response to the VM. Using the physiologic response to the VM, the system may detect a target physiologic event using the sensed physiologic response to the VM.

This disclosure is directed to systems and techniques for determining an evidence level of an atrial tachycardia (AT) episode based on heart beat intervals in the cardiac activity data over a pre-determined time period. Based on a determination that the evidence level indicates relatively regular heart beat intervals, the example techniques apply a first set of AT detection criteria and indicate a detection of an AT episode based on satisfaction of at least one of the first set of AT detection criteria. Based on a determination that the evidence level indicates relatively irregular heart beat intervals, the example techniques apply a second set of AT detection criteria and indicate a detection of an AT episode based on based on satisfaction of at least one of the second set of AT detection criteria.

INDEPENDENTLY IMPLANTABLE SENSORS FOR ORTHOPEDIC IMPLANTS

A surgical sensor system for collecting internal patient data comprises a sensor module comprising a housing and a sensor disposed within the housing, and an attachment device comprising a socket for receiving the housing and an exterior anchor feature for attaching the attachment device to biological matter. A method of implanting a sensor module for use with an orthopedic implant device comprises making an insertion portal in anatomy of a patient, positioning a sensor module in the anatomy in a first position relative to the insertion portal, and positioning an orthopedic implant in the anatomy in a second position relative to the insertion portal such that the orthopedic implant is separate from the sensor module.
