Method and apparatus for non-contact fast vital sign acquisition based on radar signal
Various examples are provided for non-contact vital sign acquisition. Information can be provided regarding vibrations of a target using a radar signal such as, e.g., non-contact vital sign measurement. Examples include estimation of heart rate, change in heart rate, respiration rate, and/or change in respiration rate, for a human or other animal. Implementations can produce one or both rates of vibration and/or change in one or both rates of vibration for a target other than an animal or human experiencing two vibrations at the same time, such as a motor, a vehicle incorporating a motor, or another physical object. Some implementations can estimate the respiration movement in the radar baseband output signal. The estimated respiration signal can then be subtracted from radar signals in the time domain and, optionally, can be further enhanced using digital signal processing techniques, to produce an estimate of the heartbeat pulses.

A sensor data correction system, includes: a standard motion mechanism unit for performing a standard motion of a wearable sensor; a determination unit calculating a relationship between first sensor data that is sensed by a first wearable sensor provided with the standard motion mechanism unit and second sensor data that is sensed by a second wearable sensor provided with the standard motion mechanism unit; and a correction unit correcting the first sensor data or the second sensor data, on the basis of the relationship that is calculated by the determination unit.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR OPTIMIZING THERAPY USING STIMULATION MIMICKING NATURAL SEIZURES
Systems, methods, and devices for automatic generation of a stimulation therapy that mimics electrographic activity in the brain at natural seizure termination define a stimulation therapy to be generated by an implanted component of a medical device system and delivered to a subject through identifying data characterizing a patient's seizures, especially at termination. A machine learning model identifies the seizures or seizure types from which to establish a canonical seizure or seizure type, and an algorithm translates the canonical seizure or seizure type into data that can be used to characterize a stimulation therapy. The systems, methods, and devices, include those configured to deliver the stimulation therapy that emulates the canonical seizure or seizure type when the seizure is detected, with the aim of terminating the seizure sooner than it would terminate without intervention.
Tonometry Based Blood Pressure Measurements Using a Two-Dimensional Force Sensor Array
Representative methods, apparatus and systems are disclosed for blood pressure and other vital sign monitoring using arterial applanation tonometry, including ambulatory blood pressure and other vital sign monitoring. A representative system comprises a wearable apparatus. The various embodiments measure blood pressure and other vital sign monitoring using a plurality of pressure sensors of a pressure sensor array, with one or more of the pressure sensors 140 applanating an artery, such as a radial artery. In a first embodiment, a pressure sensor signal is utilized which has the highest cross-coherence with the signals of its nearest pressure sensor neighbors of the pressure sensor array. In a second embodiment, Kalman filtering is utilized for the pressure sensor signals from the pressure sensor array.
