SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MEASURING MILLIMETER WAVE OF COLD ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE PLASMA
A detection device for detecting and characterizing biological energy fields emitted by biological specimens is configured to collect and analyze an electromagnetic signal that includes millimeter-length waves generated by the interaction of atmospheric plasma with torsion waves of the biological energy field. The device performs spectral analysis on the millimeter waves to determine characteristics of the corresponding torsion waves that generated them. An array of several hundred non-thermal plasma plumes are placed directly in front of a circular horn. A switchable circular polarizer is used to select left hand circular, linear or right hand circular polarization. A low noise frequency converter allows a noise temperature of less than 1150 K. A frequency scan and averaging algorithm is developed to characterize noise temperature versus frequency, comparing signal and noise levels between plasma on and plasma off, and switching polarization sense.

SIGNAL AMPLITUDE FEATURE-BASED METHOD FOR FAST RECONSTRUCTING A MAGNETIC PARTICLE IMAGING AND DEVICE
The present disclosure includes: transforming a time-domain voltage signal collected by an MPI system device to a frequency domain; calculating a square root of a square sum of a real part and an imaginary part at each frequency point of a frequency domain signal; arranging acquired amplitudes in a descending order, and acquiring a screening threshold by an amplitude ratio method; screening an amplitude through the screening threshold and constructing frequency domain signal data; acquiring a row vector of a system matrix corresponding to each frequency point of the data, so as to construct an update system matrix; and solving, based on the frequency domain signal array and the update system matrix, an inverse problem in a form of a least square based on an L2 constraint to obtain a three-dimensional magnetic particle concentration distribution result, so as to achieve a fast reconstruction of the MPI system.
Method and system for tremor assessment using photoplethysmography (PPG)
Existing wearable device-based approaches to capture a_tremor signal have accuracy limitations due to usage of accelerometer sensor with inherent noisy nature. The method and system disclosed herein taps characteristics of the PPG sensor of being sensitive to the motion artifact, as an advantage, to capture tremor_signals present in the PPG sensor. The method disclosed herein describes an approach to extract tremor_signals of interest from the PPG signal by performing a Singular Spectrum Analysis (SSA) followed by spectrum density estimation. The SSA comprises performing embedding on the acquired PPG signal, performing Principal Component Analysis (PCA) on the embedded signal and reconstructing the rest tremor signal from the significant principal components identified post the PCA. Further, the spectrum density estimation detects a dominant frequency present in the principal components, which is the dominant frequency associated with the rest tremor.

This patent application provides a method and equipment for promoting measurement of movement of substances/bolus in a tubular organ and for use in the impedance phase reading in the esophagus, thus integrating the field of exams performed for medical diagnoses, particularly for carrying out in the esophagus. The method is characterized by taking the difference between tension and current (impedance phase) as a parameter in the Impedance audiometry exam, from an excited element with alternate current; the proposed method uses a probe (5) defined by a flexible insulating catheter (1), including metallic rings (2) that is introduced in the organ (3) to be examined; the metallic rings (2) are connected by wires (4) that run internally through the probe (5) defined by the flexible insulating catheter (1); the probe (5) is connected to an equipment (6) that applies an electric excitation to the metallic rings (2) which act as electrodes.
