Systems and methods for providing interoperability among healthcare devices
A medical system includes a network; one or more medical data collection appliances coupled to the network, each appliance transmitting data conforming to an interoperable format; and a server coupled to the network to store data for each individual in accordance with the interoperable format.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REPLACING SIGNAL ARTIFACTS IN A GLUCOSE SENSOR DATA STREAM
Systems and methods for detecting noise episodes and processing analyte sensor data responsive thereto. In some embodiments, processing analyte sensor data includes filtering the sensor data to reduce or eliminate the effects of the noise episode on the signal.
Indoor occupancy estimation, trajectory tracking and event monitoring and tracking system
The present disclosure relates to a monitoring system configured to monitor the activities of individuals without having to keep the surrounding area under the surveillance of a camera thereby maintaining the privacy of the individual. In particular, the monitoring system includes a network of sensitive sensor units that are installed onto indoor flooring to record human footstep induced vibrations. The data collected from the sensors can then be processed to identify individual occupants, determine the number of occupants, estimate the location of footsteps, and track the trajectory of each occupant. The extracted trajectory information can be used to assess an occupant's personal activity and social interaction, which can then be used to analyze the individual's physical and psychological health.
System and method for pain monitoring using a multidimensional analysis of physiological signals
The present invention is for a method and system for pain classification and monitoring optionally in a subject that is an awake, semi-awake or sedated.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING MOVEMENT IN A PATIENT
Methods for operating a processing system to generate accurate information representative of movement of a body from activity sensors such as tri-axial accelerometers. The system uses wavelet analysis and/or adaptive thresholds to provide quantitative measurements of a person's posture and/or activity, including low-speed activity, during daily living.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REVASCULARIZATION ASSESSMENT
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for revascularization assessment. The methods can in some cases include one or more of the steps of measuring blood perfusion as a function of time to obtain time series data, mathematically transforming the time series data into a power spectrum, calculating at least one parameter of the power spectrum within a specific frequency range, and using the at least one calculated parameter as a discriminator for the first population and the second population.
ELECTROENCEPHALOGRAPH, BRAIN WAVE MEASUREMENT METHOD, BRAIN WAVE MEASUREMENT SYSTEM
The object is to acquire electroencephalogram of high resolution with fewer number of electrodes than usual. An electroencephalogram measurement apparatus comprising: a plurality of electrodes 110 attached on the scalp of a subject for acquisition of electroencephalogram signals of the subject; and an electroencephalogram generation unit 150 for generating an electroencephalograms at locations of the scalp where the electrodes are attached and electroencephalograms at locations of the scalp where the electrodes are not attached.
METHODS, COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIA, AND SYSTEMS FOR MEASURING BRAIN ACTIVITY
One aspect of the invention provides a method including: obtaining neural activity data for a first subject and a second subject during verbal interaction between the first subject and the second subject; and calculating coherence between the neural activity data for the first subject and the neural activity data for the second subject. Another aspect of the invention provides a non-transitory, tangible computer-readable medium comprising computer-readable program instructions for implementing the one or more of the methods described herein.
Accurate cardiac event detection in an implantable cardiac stimulus device
Methods, systems, and devices for signal analysis in an implanted cardiac monitoring and treatment device such as an implantable cardioverter defibrillator. In some illustrative examples, detected events are analyzed to identify changes in detected event amplitudes. When detected event amplitudes are dissimilar from one another, a first set of detection parameters may be invoked, and, when detected event amplitudes are similar to one another, a second set of detection parameters may be invoked. Additional methods determine whether the calculated heart rate is “high” or “low,” and then may select a third set of detection parameters for use when the calculated heart rate is high.
Health monitoring appliance
A heart monitoring system for a person includes one or more wireless nodes; and wearable appliance in communication with the one or more wireless nodes, the appliance monitoring vital signs.
