System to reduce global cell phone radiation levels
The instant invention provides a method and a system to reduce electromagnetic pollution deriving from smartphones and portable devices. Some mobile device modules can be disabled during a call or black screen mode. The user can be notified in case of abnormal values. The system and method operate using algorithms, software, devices, and databases allowing data sharing of user behavior, and allow for electromagnetic pollution data savings to be displayed on a map.
DYNAMIC UL GAPS FOR MPE DETECTION
In a system, apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium for implementing dynamic uplink (UL) gaps for maximum permissible exposure (MPE) detection, a user equipment (UE) device include a wireless antenna array, a memory storing computer readable instructions and a UL gap configuration, and processing circuitry configured to execute the computer readable instructions to cause the device to, determine estimated distance information between a user and the device using the wireless antenna array during at least one first scheduled UL gap of the UL gap scheduling in accordance with the UE maximum transmission power limit, the UL gap scheduling based on a default UL gap periodicity value and a default UL gap duration value, transmit a MPE-related message to the node based on the estimated distance information and a desired MPE threshold, and adjust the UL gap configuration based on the transmitted MPE-related message.
Radiation alleviation
In some examples, a mobile device includes a radiation sensor configured to measure an amount of radiation surrounding a corresponding device that is communicatively connected to a second device and/or a third device, a comparator configured to compare the measured amount of radiation to a predetermined radiation threshold, a wireless communication manager configured to report to the second device and/or the third device a result output from the comparison module, and a collaboration manager configured to collaborate with the second device.
WIRELESS CHARGING OF MOBILE COMMUNICATION DEVICES
A communication device that emits radio frequency signals having a module to determine when the radio frequency signals may be present and are potentially harmful, and to activate a remedial signal generator if the radio frequency signals are considered to be potentially harmful; and the power to operate the module is from a power source that can be charged using wireless charging techniques.
Telephone handset containing a remedial device
A remedial signal for potentially harmful radiation that is emitted by a portable electronic battery powered communication device is implemented directly within the handset of the portable communication device the portable communication device is operated by a microprocessor (3) and the remedial signal module is controlled by an algorithm in the microprocessor (3) wherein the algorithm obtains information concerning radio frequency communications associated with the portable telecommunications device from the transceivers (1) of the device.
Dynamic power class re-registration of mobile devices
Dynamic power class re-registration of wireless devices is provided. A wireless device can exchange data with a communications network. While exchanging data, the device can monitor its usage and based on the usage, generate a power change request. The device can then send the power change request to the communications network, prior to or in conjunction with powering down the device. In this regard, the communications network can receive the power change request, generate instructions for the wireless device, and adjust network resources based on the power change request. The instructions can then be sent to the wireless device. Since the device re-registers its power class with the communications network, handoffs, internetwork thresholds, network resources and other network parameters can be adjusted to compensate for the changed power class resulting into improved service for a user of the wireless device.
System and method of reducing specific absorption rate from mobile devices
A method and system is provided that reduces SAR resulting from RF electromagnetic field radiation of mobile communication device that is exposed to the user while holding it next to the ear or carrying it next to the body. Based on the method, a software application will run on the mobile devices that applies safety rules, adapts dynamically to the user's environment and preference during the critical use-cases when the mobile device is held next to the ear or when it is carried next to the body, and when there are strong signals at the user's current location from multiple transmitting systems that include but not limited to WiFi access points and cellular base station.
User interface to enhance millimeter wave (mmWav) communications
Wireless communications systems and methods related to providing user interfaces to inform a user of an antenna signal blockage at a wireless communication device are provided. A wireless communication device receives information associated with at least one antenna of the wireless communication device indicating that a signal path of the at least one antenna is at least partially blocked by an object. The wireless communication device outputs, via a user interface of the wireless communication device, an indication that the signal path of the at least one antenna is at least partially blocked.
