Transmitting device and buffer control method
A transmitting device includes: a first layer processor configured to include a buffer to store therein transmission data, the first layer processor configured to execute processing for a first layer on the transmission data; a second layer processor configured to execute processing for a second layer that differs from the first layer on the transmission data; and a transmitter configured to transmit the transmission data processed by the first layer processor and the second layer processor. The first layer processor discards the transmission data stored in the buffer in accordance with a parameter used for transmission control in the processing for the second layer.
Physical uplink control channel with buffer status report
Embodiments include systems and methods for communicating information in a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) message. A processor of a wireless device may configure a PUCCH message to include an uplink message in a short data field. The processor may send the PUCCH message including the short data field to convey the uplink message to a communication network. In some embodiments, the processor may receive data from a second wireless device in a downlink channel, and may generate an acknowledgement message responsive to the received data. The processor may configure the short data field to include the acknowledgement message, and may send the PUCCH message including the short data field that includes the acknowledgement message to acknowledge the received data.
APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SIDELINK BSR REPORTING
Apparatus and methods of Sidelink (SL) Buffer Status Report (BSR) reporting for New Radio (NR) Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Communication are disclosed. The apparatus includes: a processor that arranges buffer size information for sidelink (SL) transmission into a plurality of buffer groups based on a destination ID and at least one selected from a group consisting of: a cast type and a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request (HARQ) feedback mode; and a transmitter that transmits the buffer size information, according to the buffer groups.
INTERLEAVING BASED ON CODE BLOCK GROUPS FOR A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
An apparatus for wireless communication includes a transmitter and a receiver. The receiver is configured to receive a first code block (CB) that is associated with a code block group (CBG) and that is included in a transport block (TB). The receiver is further configured to receive a second CB that is associated with the CBG and that is included in the TB. The first CB is distinct from the second CB. The second CB includes at least a first bit that is associated with the first CB.
METHOD PERFORMED BY USER EQUIPMENT, AND USER EQUIPMENT
The present disclosure provides a method performed by user equipment, and user equipment. The method performed by user equipment includes: if a medium access control (MAC) entity is configured with a configured uplink grant and if the configured uplink grant is activated, then determining whether the MAC entity is configured to use the configured uplink grant to transmit a MAC PDU, namely a MAC protocol data unit, obtained for a de-prioritized configured uplink grant; and if the MAC entity is configured to use the configured uplink grant to transmit the MAC PDU, then delivering the configured uplink grant to a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) entity. In this way, the problem involving transmission of a de-prioritized MAC PDU stored in a HARQ process buffer can be solved, thereby improving the communication efficiency and reliability of a wireless communication system.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DETERMINING PRIORITY VALUE OF RADIO RESOURCE IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a communication technique for merging an IoT technology with a 5G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate than a 4G system, and a system therefor. The present disclosure can be applied to intelligent services (for example, smart homes, smart buildings, smart cities, smart cars or connected cars, healthcare, digital education, retail, security-and safety-related services, and the like) on the basis of 5G communication technologies and IoT-related technologies. The present disclosure relates to a method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system and an apparatus for performing same, the method comprising the steps of obtaining an uplink transmission resource, determining whether a medium access control (MCA) protocol data unit (PDU), which is to be transmitted as the uplink transmission resource, is stored in a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer, and identifying the priority of the uplink transmission resource on the basis of a result of the determination.
UPLINK RE-TRANSMISSION WITH COMPACT MEMORY USAGE
Embodiments of apparatuses and methods for uplink data transmission preparation are disclosed. In an example, a method for packet preparation can include creating, in a medium access control circuit, a packet list corresponding to a packet data unit for transmission. The method can also include providing the packet data unit to a physical layer circuit. The method can further include receiving, at the medium access control circuit from the physical layer circuit, information indicative of relationships between a plurality of code block groups and the packet data unit. The method can additionally include storing an association between the packet list and the plurality of code block groups based on the received information.
Transmitting data using a relay user equipment
Apparatuses, methods, and systems are disclosed for transmitting data corresponding to a relay UE. One method includes transmitting data and first information indicating relay information corresponding to retransmission of the data by a relay UE to at least one UE. The first information comprises a relay identifier, an indication that retransmission of the data is based on feedback received by the relay UE, an indication that retransmission of the data is based on a multi-hop count, an indication for the relay UE to transfer the data from a receiver buffer to a transmit buffer and to retransmit the data from the transmit buffer, an indication for the relay UE to retransmit the data to an indicated destination node, or some combination thereof. The method includes transmitting second information indicating a remaining packet delay budget to the at least one UE.
COMMUNICATION PROCESSING METHOD AND COMMUNICATION DEVICE
This application provides a communication processing method and a communication device. A first terminal device generates first acknowledgement information when the first terminal device does not perform transmission on a sidelink by using a first resource, where the sidelink is a wireless direct communication link between the first terminal device and a second terminal device; and then, the first terminal device sends the first acknowledgement information to the network device.
