20220360626 · 2022-11-10 ·

The technology described herein documents interactions in a cloud computing environment. The system creates a first partition within the cloud computing environment for a first entity and a second partition within the cloud computing environment for a second entity. A blockchain ledger can be created for a set of interactions between the first entity and the second entity, where the blockchain ledger is disengaged when the first entity and the second entity are not interacting.

A content delivery method and system, where the content delivery method includes receiving, by a first virtual server, a first request message from a content requester, where the first request message carries a first uniform resource locator (URL) of user-requested content, determining, by the first virtual server according to a cache list maintained by the first virtual server, that one of one or more storage servers managed by the first virtual server has cached the content corresponding to the first URL, and redirecting the first request message to a first storage server that is recorded in the cache list and that has cached the content corresponding to the first URL. A computation capability and a storage capability of a server cluster are separated, and content input/output (I/O) throughput performance is effectively improved.

Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, devices, computer program products, and methods implementing aspects of a decentralized content fabric. Some implementations are associated with a network configured to manage content object parts representing digital content. A content object part includes raw data, metadata, and build instructions. The network includes: a data layer storing the raw data and the metadata of the content object parts, a code layer storing the build instructions of the content object parts, a contract layer storing a digital contract associated with the content object parts, and a ledger configured to record one or more transactions. Digital output can be provided by at least processing the build instructions and the digital contract in relation to the raw data and the metadata.

Method and apparatus for realizing load balance in distributed Hash table network
09729382 · 2017-08-08 · ·

The disclosure discloses a method and an apparatus for realizing load balance in a DHT network, wherein the method comprises: determining the quantity Z of first virtual identifiers according to the node planning of the DHT network and a preset threshold of load unbalance degree, wherein Z is a natural number; equally dividing the whole load space of the DHT network into Z portions, and each portion of the load space is respectively identified by a different first virtual identifier; allocating the Z first virtual identifiers to each node according to the ability of each node so that each node is in charge of the load space corresponding to the first virtual identifier allocated to the node. The disclosure can reduce workload for managing and transferring virtual identifiers while realizing data storage load balance in the DHT network.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for data movement among distributed data centers in a peer network. The method comprises: reducing an amount of data to be moved by pre-processing the data; generating a torrent file for the data; distributing the torrent file to a peer data center, and in response to receiving a data request from the peer data center, transmitting a segment of the data to the peer data center. Compared with the prior art, the embodiments of the present disclosure can realize reliable and fast data movement among distributed data centers over an unreliable and low-bandwidth network, can support an adaptive network topology among distributed data centers without complex pre-configuration or cumbersome runtime coordination, can support different types of data storage, and facilitates coordinated cloud computing and data aggregation among distributed data centers.

METHOD OF TRANSFERRING DATA, DATA TRANSFER DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
20170264704 · 2017-09-14 · ·

A method of transferring data executed by a data transfer device, the method includes receiving a plurality of first data and a plurality of second data, accumulating the received plurality of first data and the received plurality of second data respectively, sending, to a first node, the plurality of first data accumulated during a first period, and sending, to a second node, the plurality of second data accumulated during a second period, wherein, the first period is longer than the second period when a first data amount of the plurality of first data to be sent to the first node per unit time is greater than a second data amount of the plurality of second data to be sent to the second node per the unit time.

20220239732 · 2022-07-28 ·

Methods, computer readable media, and devices for securely managing interactions between distributed components are provided. One method may include generating a first interaction identifier based on a first component identifier and data to be shared with a second component, storing the first interaction identifier in an interaction data store of the first component, sending a request to the second component including the first component identifier, the first interaction identifier, and the data to be shared with the second component, creating a graph node in an interaction relationship data store based on the first interaction identifier, receiving a response from the second component including a second component identifier, a second interaction identifier, and response data, and adding a relationship edge in the interaction relationship data store connecting the graph node based on the first interaction identifier with a graph node based on the second interaction identifier.

Method and system for verifying ownership of a digital asset using a distributed hash table and a peer-to-peer distributed ledger

A computer-implemented method (600) and system (1) for verifying ownership of a computer software for installation using a distributed hash table (13) and a peer-to-peer distributed ledger (14). This may be the Bitcoin blockchain or an alternative blockchain implementation. The method includes determining (610) a second user public key associated with a second user (24) from a transaction record stored on the peer-to-peer distributed ledger (14). A second public key associated with the second user may be determined (620) from an entry on the distributed hash table (13). The method further includes comparing (630) the second user public key and the second public key, and verifying (640) the ownership of the computer software based on the comparing of the second user public key and the second public key.

ACCESS CONTROL AND OWNERSHIP TRANSFER OF DIGITAL CONTENT USING A DECENTRALIZED CONTENT FABRIC AND LEDGER
20220210061 · 2022-06-30 ·

Disclosed are examples of systems, apparatus, devices, computer program products, and methods implementing aspects of a decentralized content fabric. In some implementations, one or more processors are configured to provide fabric nodes of an overlay network, including one or more fabric nodes that receive a client's request to access digital content on the overlay network. The request includes an authorization token digitally signed by or on behalf of a user of the client. The fabric node(s) extract a user identifier (ID) from the authorization token, then determine that one or more rules maintained on the overlay network are satisfied. The one or more rules condition access to the digital content upon the extracted user ID matching an ID associated with an owner of a digital instrument. The digital instrument, which can be a non-fungible token, is stored in a blockchain ledger as a unique representation of the digital content.
