Perhipheral device sharing over peer-to-peer connection
Disclosed is a computing system capable of performing a method that involves receiving, from a first device, a first indication that a peripheral device associated with the first device is available for sharing; sending, to a second device, a second indication that the peripheral device is available for sharing; receiving, from the second device, a request to access the peripheral device; and based at least in part on receipt of the request, causing a peer-to-peer connection to be established between the second device and the first device, the peer-to-peer connection enabling communication between the second device and the peripheral device. The peer-to-peer connection may, for example, enable direction of the peripheral device to the second device so that the peripheral device is a virtual device of the second device.
System and Method for Network Communication Within a Hyperloop Bogie During a Critical Period of Time
A system and method are disclosed herein and relate to a communication network within a hyperloop bogie, wherein the communication network logically connects a plurality of power electronic units. A first power electronic unit may generate a network packet to be sent to a second power electronic unit. The first and second power electronic units may perform a vote to determine a voting result. The first and second power electronic units may substantially independently perform further action based on the voting result. The first and second power electronic units may determine the voting result prior to the conclusion of a critical timeframe beginning with the transmittal of the network packet and ending with the voting result being stored.
Collection folder for collecting file submissions
A content management system for collecting files from one or more authenticated submitters in a collection folder. A collector, who generates the collection folder, can invite one or more submitters to submit one or more files to the collection folder. The one or more submitters have limited rights to the collection folder. The limited rights can include uploading rights and prohibiting a submitter from viewing files that other submitters associated with the collection folder submitted. Thus, the collection folder is able to store files from the one or more submitters, but prevent them from viewing other's submissions.
State management for device-driven management workflows
Disclosed are various embodiments for managing the state of client devices using device-driven management workflows. A computing device can be evaluated to determine the current state of the computing device. Then, the current state of the computing device is compared to an expected state of the computing device. The expected state of the computing device may be based at least in part on a result of execution of at least one device-driven management workflow by the computing device. In response to a determination that the current state of the computing device fails to match the expected state of the computing device, the device-driven management workflow can be executed to resolve the discrepancy between the expected state and the current state.
Content Source Allocation Between Computing Devices
Systems and methods of the present disclosure relate generally to allocation of content resources in a voice activated packet-based computer network. A request for a digital component, by a client computing device, can be fulfilled by multiple content sources. Fulfillment by the different content sources can consume different amounts of computational and network resources. The selection of the best content provider can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data packet transmission over one or more computer networks.
Systems and methods for random differential relay and network coding
A method of propagating data packets in a network of nodes is disclosed. The method, implemented at one of the nodes, includes: collecting a set of first data packets during a first time period, the set including at least one data packet received from one or more first nodes in the network; obtaining a plurality of encoded data packets, each one of the plurality of encoded data packets being generated by combining two or more first data packets of the set using network coding; determining a mapping of the plurality of encoded data packets and the first data packets of the set to one or more neighbouring nodes connected to the node; and transmitting the plurality of encoded data packets and the first data packets of the set to the one or more neighbouring nodes according to the determined mapping.
Information processing apparatus and method for processing information
It is desired to make it possible to verify data more properly while effectively utilizing resources. There is provided an information processing apparatus including a verification unit that verifies predetermined data using first data obtained from the predetermined data and second data obtained from a P2P database.
PEER-TO-PEER DELTA IMAGE DISPATCH SYSTEM
In an example embodiment, a solution is used to provide for a highly efficient image dispatch system for container-based in-memory databases in a database-as-a-service framework that provides storage and bandwidth cost savings and introduces advanced features of container techniques. This solution makes best use of the advantages of the concurrent and distributed capabilities of in-memory databases in a database-as-a-service framework. A container operator manager provides operators for various uses, such as the “diff” operator and the “merge” operator. A dispatch manager acts as a centralized service for diff content maintenance, patch publication and management of dispatch worker nodes. A patch worker on each node has the capabilities to execute the specified patching and validation between the images located on each side of the in-memory database in the database-as-a-service framework.
File resource processing method and apparatus, device and medium
The embodiment of the present application discloses a file resource processing method and apparatus, a device and a medium, relates to a file system processing technology and the field of cloud computing. Herein, the file resource processing method includes the following steps of: receiving a file resource access request of a terminal, and determining a target file resource requested to be accessed by the terminal according to the file resource access request; marking the target file resource as a state of entering a grace period, in response to determining that the file resource access request belongs to a reestablishing resource state request; and executing an access operation corresponding to the file resource access request based on the target file resource, in response to determining that the file resource access request does not belong to the reestablishing resource state request.
VISUALIZING NETWORK TRAFFIC PLANS BASED ON EGRESS PEER ENGINEERING
A traffic planning platform may receive information related to a traffic flow including a traffic bandwidth to transport through a network with various network devices interconnected by links. The traffic planning platform may generate a traffic plan by assigning the traffic flow to a set of the links that includes network resources connecting a source of the traffic flow to a destination of the traffic flow. The traffic planning platform may render a visualization of the traffic plan, wherein the visualization includes a user interface (e.g., a diagram, an animation, and/or the like) in which geometric shapes that represent the source, the peer link, and the destination are connected by bands that represent the tunnel and the external route and further in which the geometric shapes and the bands each have a first visual property and a second visual property based on the traffic bandwidth of the traffic flow.
