The bendable structure (102) comprises a bending portion (1021), and a first non-bending portion (1022) and a second non-bending portion (1023) respectively located on two sides of the bending portion (1021). The support device (101) comprises a first support (1011), a second support (1012), a rotating shaft support (1013), and at least one support component (1014). The first support (1011) is used to support the first non-bending portion (1022), and the second support (1012) is used to support the second non-bending portion (1023). Each support component (1014) is connected to the rotating shaft support (1013), and is further used to be connected to the bending portion (1021) to provide support. The support device (101) is used to support the entire bendable structure (102) to avoid swelling of the bending portion (1021) of the bendable structure (102), thereby ensuring the flatness of the bendable structure (102).
ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING DISPLAY AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
An electronic device and a method of manufacturing the electronic device are provided. The electronic device includes: a flexible display; and a cover window disposed on the flexible display, wherein the cover window includes a glass member and a buffer member disposed between the glass member and the flexible display, wherein the glass member includes at least one flat area and a bending area extending from the at least one flat area, and wherein a thickness of at least a portion of the bending area continuously decreases from a thickness of the at least one flat area as the bending area extends from the at least one flat area, and a width of the at least the portion of the bending area continuously decreases from a width of the at least one flat area as the bending area extends from the at least one flat area.
Incoming Call Prompting Method and Electronic Device
An incoming call prompting method includes an electronic device that receives a call request from a contact, and when a flexible screen of the electronic device is in a folded state, the electronic device determines, in response to the call request, a target screen corresponding to the call request, where the target screen is a first screen or a second screen of the flexible screen; the electronic device displays an answer button on the target screen; and the electronic device displays prompt information of the call request on a non-target screen, where the prompt information prompts a user to answer the current call request using the answer button displayed on the target screen.
OUTER FLEXIBLE SCREEN MOBILE ELECTRONIC TERMINAL AND HINGE ASSEMBLY THEREOF
The present invention provides an outer flexible screen mobile electronic terminal and a hinge assembly. A composite supporting layer of a flexible screen is provided between a first side housing and a second side housing; the composite supporting layer comprises a tensile layer capable of being bent and rebounding, and a bendable and flattenable supporting layer of the tensile layer. A hinge comprises a middle supporting portion, a first side connection portion, and a second side connection portion; the outer side of the middle supporting portion is provided with an arc fitting the bending of the flexible screen, and the first side and the second side of the middle supporting portion are respectively provided with gratings; the first side connection portion and the second side connection portion are configured to be in the shape of a comb. The supporting structure of the present invention can flatten and support the flexible screen and fit the bending of the flexible screen, is simple in design and control, improves the sense of touch and protects the flexible screen, and prolongs the service life of the flexible screen.
EXPANDABLE DISPLAY MOBILE DEVICE WITH A TIMING BELT DRIVE
An expandable touch screen display device made up of a flexible display that can be reconfigured from a compact state to a plurality of expanded states. The form factor of the compact state is roughly the size of a typical handheld phone or smaller. The form factor of each of the expanded states is roughly the size of a tablet computer. An internal mechanism is provided for synching the motion of the device’s expansion with the motion of the flexible display’s end plate which provides a force to guide the display around the roller located at the edge of the device. The device may further include an integrated speaker and microphone, and sensors to indicate the expanded position of the display. In one embodiment, a module attached to, situated within, or otherwise associated with the device may contain all or substantially all processing and memory, along with a communications system.
MOBILE TERMINAL
A mobile terminal comprises a body including a first frame and a second frame slidably coupled to a rear surface of the first frame in a first direction or a second direction; a flexible display unit including a front portion located on a front surface of the body, a rear portion located on a rear surface of the body, and a side portion connecting the front portion with the rear portion and surrounding one side of the body; a plurality of reinforcing ribs protruded from a rear surface of the first frame and extended in the first direction; and a plurality of supports protruded from a front surface of the second frame and located between the respective reinforcing ribs. The mobile terminal may enhance usability and portability by varying its size.
Methods and Electronic Devices Enabling a Dual Content Presentation Mode of Operation
A method in an electronic device comprises detecting, with one or more sensors, a geometry or geometric form factor of the electronic device. One or more processors then enable, in response to detecting the geometric form factor, a dual content presentation mode of operation allowing presentation of first content on a first display of the electronic device and second content on a second display where the first content and the second content are different.
MOBILE TERMINAL
A mobile terminal comprises: a body frame that is expandable in a first direction and shrinkable in a second direction; a flexible display in which the area of a display unit positioned on the front surface of the body frame is expanded according to the expansion of the body frame; a driving unit that changes the size of the body; a sensing unit that senses a user command; and a control unit that controls the driving unit to expand or shrink the body frame on the basis of the user command sensed by the sensing unit. Thus, a screen of the display unit positioned on the front surface can be expanded through size adjustment. Because a part of the screen always faces the outside, a separate secondary display unit is not required, and the screen may be expanded step by step as needed.
MOBILE TERMINAL
A mobile terminal according to an embodiment may comprise: a first frame; a second frame which comprises a third rear part provided on the rear surface of the first frame and movable in a first direction and a first roller provided at the end of the third rear part in the first direction; a flexible display panel which is provided to surround the first roller; a driving part for driving the second frame in the first direction or a second direction opposite to the first direction from the first frame; and a side cover which comprises a first plate extending in the second direction from both sides of the first roller and a second plate moving forward and backward on the first plate.
