DANGER DETECTION SYSTEM
A danger detection system is provided. The system includes a user computing device programmed to receive from a microphone of the computing device a signal indicating a gunshot-like sound and automatically determine if the gunshot-like sound is a gunshot. The user computing device is also programmed to automatically determine a location of the gunshot; and to automatically generate and send to a display of the user computing device a safety notification in response to determining if the gunshot is within a predetermined distance.
Apparatus and method of requesting emergency call for vehicle accident by using travelling information about vehicle
Disclosed are an apparatus and a method of requesting an emergency call (E-Call) for a vehicle accident, which request an E-Call for a vehicle accident by using driving information obtained during travelling of a vehicle. An apparatus for requesting an E-Call for a vehicle accident according to the present invention includes: a travelling information detecting unit configured to detect travelling information about a vehicle for each predetermined time; a vehicle accident determining unit configured to determine whether an accident occurs in the vehicle based on the travelling information; and an E-Call signal transmitting unit configured to transmit an E-Call signal for the vehicle accident with a current location of the vehicle when it is determined that the accident occurs in the vehicle.
Systems and methods for automated emergency response
Described herein are systems, devices, methods, and media for facilitating emergency communications by an emergency management system. In one embodiment, a method for facilitating emergency communications comprises: identifying a user potentially affected by an emergency; providing an emergency response message to a communication device associated with the user; receiving confirmation of the emergency; in response to receiving confirmation of the emergency, initiating an autonomous communication session with the user through the communication device; extracting emergency information from the autonomous communication session; and providing the emergency information to an emergency service provider (ESP).

PROVIDING STATUS OF USER DEVICES ASSOCIATED WITH A BIOHAZARD
A method includes identifying a first user device potentially associated with a biohazard and identifying a geographic area associated with the biohazard based on previous location information of the first user device. The method further includes identifying a another user device potentially associated with the biohazard based on the geographic area associated with the biohazard and previous location information of the other user device. The method further includes issuing a safety notification to the other user device, where the safety notification includes one or more of the geographic area associated with the biohazard, a safety status request, a safety status level of the first user device, a subset of the previous location information of the first user device, and a subset of the previous location information of the other user device.

MedMobile device
The MedMobile Device (MMD), is a medical device or circuit, software, application or App, software program, or platform, that enables a smart phone, tablet, laptop, computer, or any other mobile computer device, to take mobilized blood pressure readings, temperature readings, pulse readings, heart readings (EKG/ECG), and other vital sign readings, of a patient located outside of a heath care facility; and to monitor, track, store, process, the patient's data or information. This is accomplished by a special software App or program installed on a smart phone, tablet, computer, or any other mobile computer device, network, or platform. This software App or program communicates with the MMD, and the MMD simultaneously communicates with a special attached sensing device or sensor by sending and receiving data to and from the attached sensing device or sensor; this data may represent the blood pressure, temperature, pulse, heart rate, or other vital sign readings of the patient. The sensing device or sensor is attached to the MMD by use of a USB port, or other types of connector means, or may be interfaced by wireless means, such as, Blue Tooth, WiFi, or other wireless means or protocols. Further the MMD's platform enables a patients, health care providers or professionals, to interact, correspond, or communicate health care issues or concerns via the internet, and to use platform based applications to manage appointments, peer-to-peer social communication, etc.
FACILITATING EVENT BASED NOTIFICATIONS
The disclosure includes facilitating transmission of event based notifications to devices. As an example, a method comprises generating, by a system operatively coupled to a processor, a set of event data based on an occurrence of one or more event; and transmitting, by the system, a subset of event data to an application executing on a second device. The method can further comprise a second subset of event data based on a help button of the first device being triggered, wherein the second subset of event data is configured to notify the application executing on the second device of the help button being triggered. The method can comprise generating a third subset of event data based on a sensor of the first device being triggered, wherein the third subset of event data is configured to notify the application executing on the second device of the sensor being triggered.
Method, Apparatus and Computer-Readable Medium for Aiding Emergency Response
Presented is a method, apparatus, and computer-readable medium for aiding emergency response. An exemplary method includes receiving, by a processor, a first data, the first data related to medical information of an individual, and receiving, by a processor, a plurality of second data, the plurality of second data from a plurality of devices with information of the individual. The method further includes determining, by the processor, a trauma level of the individual based on the received first data and the received plurality of second data, and transmitting, by the processor, the first data and the plurality of second data to a trauma center
COMMUNITY SAFETY, SECURITY, HEALTH COMMUNICATION AND EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM WITH INTER-ORGANIZATIONAL COMPATIBILITY
A community safety system (CSS) including a notification management entity (NME) comprising servers, the NME communicatively coupled to multiple user devices and one or more administrator devices (collectively, registered user devices). The CSS includes a plurality of registered users, wherein each registered user is associated with an organization, and a user category of a set of user categories. The NME may maintain a list of the registered users and associated information. The registered users may have user devices including a CSS application operating thereon. In some embodiments the CSS enables inter-organizational communication, allowing for members of a first organization to provide alerts that the NME can pass to a second organization when the registered user is physically located within a security zone associated with a second organization but not a member of the second organization.
