In general, the subject matter described in this specification can be embodied in methods, systems, and program products for providing search results automatically to a user of a computing device. A spoken input provided by a user to a computing device is received. The spoken input is transmitted to a computer server system that is remote from the computing device. Search result information that is responsive to the spoken input is receiving by the computing device and in response to the transmitted spoken input. An alert is provided to the user that the device will connect the user to a target of the search result information if the user does not intervene to stop the connecting of the user. The user is connected to the target of the search result information based on a determination that the user has not intervened to stop the connecting of the user.

A system and method includes one or more processors one or more processors coupled to a memory. The one or more processors may execute instructions from the memory to perform the steps including receiving an audio communications request from a first user device of a user, identifying a second user device of the user in response to receiving the audio communications request, providing a suggestion that the user use the second user device with the system, receiving a response from the user responding to the suggestion, establishing a communication channel with the second user device, and providing content associated with the audio communications request to the second user device.

The system and method of the present invention may allow a calling party to make a called party to be aware of its intention to establish a call session with it in one or more ways. According to the present invention a calling party may be automatically offered alternatives to voice session or may be allowed to change the silent mode of the called party to a non-silent mode or may be allowed to address a query to a third party via the called party or may be automatically offered to re-establish a connection with a called party if it was disconnected by the called party in error.

Call routing system and method for routing calls based upon an initiator's current location in a wireless communications network. The call routing system includes an interface to receive incoming communications directed to an identifier identifying different geographic locations of destination party. Interactive unit interacts with off-network providers. Call routing process is created to determine, based on the current location of the initiator, which geographic location to direct the communication and gateway mediation process is created to inquire from off-network service the current location of the initiator, to receive location data related to the initiator's current location, and to return the received location data to the call routing process. Interactive unit is configured to terminate communication to geographic location of the destination party based on the initiator's current location. Incoming communication and terminating communication are bridged at interactive unit.

A server performs a method for determining a communication target and facilitating communications with the target based on an object descriptor. The method includes the server receiving, from a requestor in a communication system, an object descriptor for an object, a description of a relationship between the object and a target in the communication system, and a request for a communication action with the target. The server then determines the target using the object descriptor and the relationship between the object and the target and facilitates the communication action with the target.

A Multicall telephony system has a first land-line telephone connected to a central switch in a land-line telephone network and a server executing SW on a processor from a non-transitory medium, the server also coupled to the land-line telephone system by a service telephone number. In operation a user dials the service telephone number, and when connected, dials two or more telephone numbers separated by delimiters and followed by a terminator character, and the server, executing the software, dials the two or more telephone numbers separated by delimiters in the call from the first land-line telephone, and connects answered calls in a conference with the call placed by the first land-line telephone.

A method and apparatus for processing IVR input in a call setup message are provided herein. The method includes receiving at an IVR system a call setup message including information associated with one or more data fields; parsing the information included in the call setup message; and directing the call based on the information included in the call setup message.
