An information processing apparatus connected with a plurality of manipulation devices to receive manipulation inputs from a plurality of users is configured to hold allocation information for allocating each of the plurality of manipulation devices to each of the plurality of users and display, on a screen of a display apparatus, a guide image including information for identifying a user before change and information for identifying a user after change if, in the allocation information, a user to whom any one of the plurality of manipulation devices is allocated is changed.

According to one aspect of the present disclosure, an image processing apparatus in which a plurality of applications operates, the image processing apparatus comprises: a selection unit that selects, from the plurality of applications, one or more applications used for performing setting of a function; a setting unit that sets whether a setup screen for the one or more applications selected by the selection unit is displayed in a first mode or a second mode; and a display unit that displays the setup screen for the one or more applications in the first mode or the second mode based on information set by the setting unit, wherein one or more functions available in a setup screen displayed in the second mode are fewer than functions available in a setup screen displayed in the first mode.

An information processing system includes a plurality of programs each executing a predetermined process. The information processing system includes a memory that stores an application for executing a series of processes. The memory further stores use screen information. The information processing system further includes circuitry configured to: receive a display request for the use screen from an electronic device; transmit, to the electronic device, the use screen information defining the use screen requested by the received display request and the setting information for the application corresponding to the use screen information; receive, from the electronic device, a first acquisition request that includes a first item detail that is input to a first input item among the input items on the use screen; acquire, from the external service, list information; and transmit the acquired list information to the electronic device.

An information processing apparatus includes a memory and a processor. The processor is configured to: when an extension device that extends functions of the information processing apparatus by being connected to the information processing apparatus is connected to the information processing apparatus, display (i) information representing a basic function provided in the information processing apparatus and (ii) information representing an extended function added by the extension device on one screen together; and when the connection with the extension device is released, display the information representing the extended function so as to indicate that the extended function becomes available when the extension device is connected to the information processing apparatus.

When the network setting information is received, the printer stops the wireless LAN setting service.

A control method for an information processing apparatus, the control method comprising: receiving, from a first external apparatus which belongs to a different subnet of a network than the subnet of the information processing apparatus, specific information for discovering the first external apparatus using a first communication unit; accepting an instruction from a user for searching for external apparatuses; discovering, in response to accepting the instruction and receiving the specific information before accepting the instruction, one or a plurality of external apparatuses by using the specific information, wherein the discovered external apparatuses includes the first external apparatus; displaying a list of information related to the discovered external apparatus(es); and communicating, using a second communication unit, with a selected external apparatus that a user has selected from the list.
