STERNAL CLOSURE CERCLAGE, PLATE IMPLANT AND INSTRUMENTATION
A system including a bone punch tool and a needle guide. The bone punch tool can include a support arm having a support arm proximal portion and a support arm distal portion, a pivot arm having a pivot arm proximal portion and a pivot arm distal portion, and an arcuate punch configured to punch through bone. The pivot arm distal portion can be pivotably coupled to the support arm distal portion, such that the pivot arm proximal portion is configured to be moved away from the support arm proximal portion to extend the arcuate punch into a punch position to punch an arcuate hole through bone. The needle guide can be configured to guide a needle through the arcuate hole.
Rotational driver
A rotational driver that comprises a interactive portion, wherein each interactive portion comprises a first extended member and a second extended member, a rotational system and a linear motion system, wherein the rotational driver permits a left or right handed surgeons to perform the surgical suturing procedure in a less complicated and more secure way by allowing more control over the angled suturing needle and the area to be stitched, even when the suturing area is small, deep, and/or restricted. Also the rotational driver comprises several configurations at the interactive portion ends to provide selected angles for the needle during the suturing procedure.
SURGICAL TOOLS AND METHODS FOR THEIR USE
Surgical tools and kits for performing methods include a grommet with cylindrical shaft, cutting tip, annular flange with suture retaining anchoring fixture; a grommet jig for extending between adjacent grommets and guiding a needle therebetween; a family of needles with single and double pointed ends, reinforced eyelets, stops to limit inadvertent exiting, double shaft construction with a longitudinal gap and sharpened, slicing ends, including a J shape embodiment; a bone anchor with ring to secure sutures about a patient's clavicle; a tissue dissector having radially extending cones to nick taut connecting tissues; a tissue rasp having a series of crisscrossing grooves along an end; a tissue mesher comprising one or more blocks having a matrix of holes for damping a plurality of needles and a supporting framework; and a kit device and a method of surgically inserting an internal mesh brassiere under the breast skin.
ANASTOMOSIS DEVICE
The disclosure concerns systems for use in anastomosis of tubular biological organs within the body, particularly small tubular organs, such as blood vessels, bile duct, lymph duct, nerve ducts, epididymis, etc. The anastomosis system comprises a coupling device with a body, typically within a housing, a coupling assembly linked to the body, a plurality of suturing units within the coupling assembly, and an actuator arrangement formed within the coupling device.
Method for intra-abdominally moving an organ
A surgical tissue connector system for moving a first internal body tissue to a position away from a second internal body tissue and then holding the first internal body tissue in the position. Tissue connectors are secured to cords such that the length of cord between the tissue connectors can be easily adjusted in a laparoscopic work space.
End-effector jaw closure transmission systems for remote access tools
A jaw closure transmission system is presented comprising an input sub-system, output sub-system and a transmission sub-system.
Repair device and method for deploying anchors
A bone or tissue repair device can deploy first and second anchors from a distal end of a bore of a needle. A cylindrical first anchor can be disposed in the bore proximal to a distal end of the bore. A cylindrical second anchor can be disposed in the bore proximal to the first anchor. A pusher wire can include teeth positioned at a distal end of the pusher wire. The pusher wire and teeth can be configured to engage an interior of the first anchor; advance distally, with respect to the needle, to force the first anchor distally out of the bore; retract proximally, with respect to the needle and the second anchor, to position the teeth inside an interior of the second anchor; engage the interior of the second anchor; and advance distally, with respect to the needle, to force the second anchor distally out of the bore.
DENTAL SUTURING NEEDLE
The present invention provides a dental suturing needle comprising a needle part provided with a needle point, and an eye part extending from the needle part and provided with an eye of the needle, wherein between the needle part and eye part is a curved part which is structured so that the needle part slants to the left or right by 20-45 with respect to the eye part. The present invention provides a three-dimensional suturing needle structured so that the needle part curves laterally by a set angle two to three times from the eye part to thus facilitate securing suturing space inside the mouth cavity, remove discomfort to the hand due to easy access to the treatment area, and allow smooth suturing without having to apply excessive pressure to the wrist, and additionally, the present invention is a very useful invention which creates spaces that do not come into contact with tissues to thus allow smooth movement of the suturing needle and minimize damage to the tissues.
