Dynamic emoticon-generating method, computer-readable storage medium and computer device

An animated emoticon generation method, a computer-readable storage medium, and a computer device are provided. The method includes: displaying an emoticon input panel on a chat page; detecting whether a video shooting event is triggered in the emoticon input panel; acquiring video data in response to detecting the video shooting event; obtaining an edit operation for the video data; processing video frames in the video data according to the edit operation to synthesize an animated emoticon; and adding an emoticon thumbnail corresponding to the animated emoticon to the emoticon input panel, the emoticon thumbnail displaying the animated emoticon to be used as a message on the chat page based on a user selecting the emoticon thumbnail in the emoticon input panel.

An ad in a movie can be a static ad having a position in the movie that cannot be moved, or a dynamic ad having a position in the movie that can be changed. When a viewer wishes to skip a portion of the movie containing the ad, the playback system determines whether the ad is static or dynamic. If the ad is static, only the portion of the movie preceding the static ad can be skipped; the ad is unskippable. This technique is referred to as “bounceback” since the end of the skip bounces back to the start of the static ad. If the ad is dynamic, it is moved to after the end of the skip. This technique is referred to as “slip-ad” since the ad slips to later in the movie. When a movie has multiple ads, some can be static and some can be dynamic.

Each image data stream obtained from each IAD may be uniquely identified to allow selective real-time playback of image data streams under user control. Each image data stream represents a corresponding viewing angle to the user. The user may dynamically change the selection of an image stream, and thus the viewing angle, while viewing a recorded scene. Multiple image streams of the same scene may be selected and viewed simultaneously to provide 3D or other visual effects.

Various embodiments of the present invention relate generally to systems and processes for transforming a style of video data. In one embodiment, a neural network is used to interpolate native video data received from a camera system on a mobile device in real-time. The interpolation converts the live native video data into a particular style. For example, the style can be associated with a particular artist or a particular theme. The stylized video data can viewed on a display of the mobile device in a manner similar to which native live video data is output to the display. Thus, the stylized video data, which is viewed on the display, is consistent with a current position and orientation of the camera system on the display.
