SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUDIO VISUAL CONTENT CREATION AND PUBLISHING WITHIN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT
Methods and systems for providing content creation and content publishing in a controlled environment are disclosed herein. A media management device receives an audio track including lyrical content. Further, the media management device performs speech recognition analysis on the audio track to determine lyrical text corresponding to the lyrical content. Additionally, the media management device determines whether the audio track contains prohibited content based on comparing the lyrical text to a blacklist of prohibited information. When the audio track does not include prohibited content, the media management device publishes the audio track to a media library accessible to devices within the controlled environment.
Content playback system, server, mobile terminal, content playback method, and recording medium
Selected image data or specific information thereon is stored in association with moving image data as a management marker of a selected image. The selected image data is selected from among still image data extracted from the moving image data. When an output image of the selected image is captured, image analysis is performed on the captured image data to acquire a management marker of a captured image. A management marker of a selected image corresponding to the management marker of the captured image from among management markers of selected images stored in the storage is specified. Digest moving image data is generated by picking out a part of moving image data associated with the specific management marker. Control is performed so that a digest moving image is playbacked and displayed on the display section.
PROVIDING ENHANCED CONTENT BASED ON USER INTERACTIONS
Some of the various features described herein include providing an enhanced view of content. Some content may be cropped or edited for general transmission, and a primary- or second-screen device may be used to receive and view additional views or portions of content that may otherwise be unavailable. For example, if a cropped portion of content is delivered to a device, a different device may be used to view at least a portion of the content that was removed during the cropping process. Another aspect may include providing a higher-resolution version of content to a second-screen device.
INTELLIGENT COMMENTARY GENERATION AND PLAYING METHODS, APPARATUSES, AND DEVICES, AND COMPUTER STORAGE MEDIUM
The present disclosure provides an intelligent commentary generation method. The method includes: obtaining a match data stream; parsing the match data stream, to obtain candidate events from the match data stream; determining events from the candidate events, to generate a sequence of events; and generating commentary scripts corresponding to the match data stream according to the sequence of events.
Converting digital publications into a format for sending to a user device
A computing device receives an electronic publication. The computing device determines a layout for the electronic publication based on a display format in which the electronic publication is to be presented. The computing device converts the electronic publication into a streamable format based on the layout. The computing device receives a request to access the electronic publication from a user device. The computing device transmits contents for one or more pages of the converted electronic publication to the user device.
Systems and methods for mixing synthetic voice with original audio tracks
The disclosed computer-implemented method may include accessing an audio track that is associated with a video recording, identifying a section of the accessed audio track having a specific audio characteristic, reducing a volume level of the audio track in the identified section, accessing an audio segment that includes a synthesized voice and inserting the accessed audio segment into the identified section of the audio track, where the inserted segment has a higher volume level than the reduced volume level of the audio track in the identified section. The synthesized voice description can be used to provide additional information to a visually impaired viewer without interrupting the audio track that is associated with the video recording, typically by inserting the synthesized voice description into a segment of the audio track in which there is no dialog. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
ANALYSIS OF VIDEO GAME VIDEOS FOR INFORMATION EXTRACTION, CONTENT LABELING, SMART VIDEO EDITING/CREATION AND HIGHLIGHTS GENERATION
Methods and systems for analyzing video-game videos in connection with facilitating video editing and creation and performing automated extraction of information of interest to facilitate labeling of and/or highlight generation for such videos is provided. According to one embodiment, a video, containing content pertaining to a video game, is received by a video-game video analysis system. Information regarding the status of the video game over time is received by retrieving game metadata through an API of the video game or by analyzing audio or visual features within the content. Multiple clips are automatically identified within the video for proposed inclusion within an edited version of the video based on the status of the video game over time. The edited version of the video is then generated by (i) joining the automatically identified clips or (ii) joining multiple user-selected clips, including at least one clip selected from the automatically identified clips.
Methods and systems for fault tolerant video packaging
Disclosed are various systems and methods for fault tolerant video packaging and transmission. A video packager may receive one or more video content transmissions from a transcoder, and may identify deficient segments, packets, or other portions of the video content transmission. The video packager may also maintain or have access to a default video output that is free of the identified deficiencies. For example, the default video output can include one or more segments of video data comprising a blank or solid color frame, or a still image. The deficient data may be determined based on validation parameters. If the validation parameters are satisfied, the received data is packaged and transmitted. Otherwise, the default video output is packaged to replace deficient portions, and transmitted instead of the received video content.
Method for transmitting/receiving internet-based content and transmitter/receiver using same
The present invention relates to a method for transmitting/receiving contents through a network such as the Internet, and to a transmitter/receiver using same, the transmission method comprising: converting content stored in a file format into a delivery format; and transmitting the content converted into the delivery format using an IP packet, wherein the delivery format includes indicator information for expressing whether a program clock reference (PCR) has been transmitted to the IP packet.
Methods and apparatus for providing voice mail services
Methods and apparatus for retrieving and providing voice mail messages from a server are described. In accordance with the invention voice mail messages may be retrieved via requests made via a set top box. Voice mail messages are retrieved in response to the request from a voice mail server which is also accessible via the telephone network. Retrieved voice mail is transcoded and included in a video on demand (VOD) file. Text, call ID information and/or other information as, e.g., an automatically generated transcript of the voice mail message, may be included in the VOD file. The VOD file is supplied to a VOD server which provides the file including the message to the set top box for display. A user can view the messages and switch from viewing one message to the next by using video play back commands.
