The present disclosure is directed toward systems and methods for dynamically providing digital content to client devices at different insertion points of a digital video based on predicted total value of inserting the digital content and predicted engagement loss of inserting the digital content. For example, system and methods described herein determine that an insertion point is approaching in an actively playing digital video. In response, systems and methods identify digital content for insertion at the insertion point. In one or more embodiments, the described systems and methods insert the identified digital content by comparing the predicted total value of inserting the digital content at the insertion point of the digital video and a predicted engagement loss associated with inserting the digital content at the insertion point of the digital video.

The present invention provides a digital broadcast receiver capable of executing functions having higher added values. The broadcast receiver receives a broadcast wave of a digital broadcast service, controls an operation including activation and end of an application that is in cooperation with a broadcast program based on application-related information, and selects control relating to reactivation of the application based on a user's operation. If activation of the application is requested after the end of the application, the broadcast receiver controls the reactivation or non-reactivation of the application in accordance with the selection of control by the user.

A media system providing customized media functions at a hospitality establishment includes a first device operable to display a first passkey to a user attempting to activate a media function on a particular media device. In one aspect, an example method involves: using, by a computing device, data associated with multiple elections to generate a set of ordered content items, wherein each content item of the set of ordered content items includes content associated with a respective one of the multiple elections, and wherein the set of ordered content items is used to generate a video stream representing video content; using, by a computing device, at least a portion of the data to make a determination that a status of one of the multiple elections satisfies each condition in a condition set; and based, at least in part, on the determination, while the video stream is being generated, modifying, by the computing device, the set of ordered content items, thereby causing the video content to be modified.

The aggregation system presents content items of the first feed, the second feed, and the third feed in a first sequence to a first user. The aggregation system presents content items of the first feed, the second feed, and the third feed in a second sequence to a second user. In some embodiments, the first sequence and/or the second sequence are based on subscription to content of the first user and/or the second user.
