System and method for event data collection and video alignment
Software is provided to collect events that transpire during an event. Captured video of the event can then be aligned to the events by calculating an offset between timestamps provided by the devices used to capture the action data and film data. A video clip can be sourced to review events that occurred.
Automatically generating supercuts
Embodiments of the present technology may include systems and processes associated with automatically generating supercuts associated with programming content. The present technology may include receiving, at the computing device, a set of related programming content, wherein the set of related programming content includes video clips; receiving an input from a user including a command to generate a supercut and a keyword associated with the supercut; searching the set of related programming content for portions of the video clips associated with the keyword; identifying a first event within a first video clip associated with the keyword and a second event within a second video clip associated with the keyword; determining a type of event associated with each of the first and second events and link the types of events with their respective events; determining a pre-event time period and a post-event time period for each of the first and second events based on the types of events; and generating and displaying a supercut using the first event, the second event, the pre-event time periods, and the post-event time periods. The above steps may be implemented as a computer-implemented method, computer program product, or device such as a television receiver, or in other types of embodiments.
METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR REALIZING DYNAMIC SCHEDULING FOR A CINEMA AND CONTROLLING PLAYING OF A MOVIE
The present disclosure relates to a method, apparatus, and system for realizing dynamic scheduling for a cinema and controlling playing of a movie. In particular, embodiments of the present invention relate to dynamic scheduling of content presentation in a cinema by collecting user preferences of a plurality of users, wherein the user preference specifies at least a movie that a user desires to watch, a time for watching the movie, a cinema for watching the movie, and a number of people watching the movie; generating, based on the collected user preferences, a respective dynamic schedule for at least one cinema of a plurality of cinemas according to one of a plurality of scheduling schemes; and transmitting the generated respective dynamic schedule to at least one second electronic apparatus corresponding to the at least one cinema.
Device and method for detecting display of provided credit, and program
The present invention enables detection of a sponsorship credit display in a broadcast program with higher precision. A sponsorship credit display detection device 100 according to the present invention includes: a CM segment detection unit 120 that extracts a cut point, which is a time point where a frame in which the volume of an audio signal of a broadcast program is less than a volume threshold value and the amount of change from a previous frame is at least a pixel change threshold value is played, and detects a CM segment by comparing an interval of the extracted cut point with a CM defined length; a sponsorship credit display segment estimation unit 130 that estimates, as a sponsorship credit display segment, a predetermined time period before or after at least one continuous CM segment detected by the CM segment detection unit 120; and an output unit 140 that outputs information indicating the sponsorship credit display segment.
Identification of elements in a group for dynamic element replacement
In some embodiments, a method determines an element is associated with a value in a manifest description presentation for a media presentation being played. The value indicates the element of the manifest description presentation is part of a group. The method reviews the manifest description presentation to determine a plurality of elements that are associated with the value and sends a request to a device to resolve the plurality of elements using information from one of the elements. Information for supplement content is received for the group where the information for the supplemental content is inserted in the manifest description presentation in place of the plurality of elements.
Receiving apparatus capable of receiving digital contents and commercial messages
A receiving apparatus comprises a recorder of the received digital contents and commercial messages. Commercial message retrieved from the recorder is interposed into a digital content or between a pair of digital contents in accordance with the type of commercial message. Interposition of commercial message is controlled by internal information, such as history of actually displaying the same commercial message, or history of skipping the same commercial message. The receiving apparatus controls the repetition time of displaying the same commercial message, or decision whether or not actually displaying a specific commercial message, or the order of displaying commercial messages. Skip of commercial message is prevented unless display has been repeated over a minimum requirement, or user agrees with a compensation for the skip. Repetition of the same commercial message ceases with skip repeated over a limit. Notice of interposing commercial message or of compensation for skip is made in advance.
MULTI-VIEW POINT/LOCATION OMNI-DIRECTIONAL RECORDING AND VIEWING
Aspects providing multiple different and selectable viewpoints for displaying graphic image content of an environment. Thus, a computer processor is configured to cause a graphic display device to display a selectable viewpoint identifier within a display of image content presented to a user; display an information item within the graphic display that is associated with the selectable viewpoint identifier and that provides information of selection of the selectable viewpoint identifier, or of a content viewpoint of the associated selectable viewpoint identifier; and change the display of image content presented to the user on the graphic display device from the current view to the content viewpoint of the associated selectable viewpoint identifier, in response to selection of the selectable viewpoint identifier.
System for enabling a virtual theater
The disclosed virtual theater system includes capture devices for capturing video and audio of a live event and converting the video and audio into a data stream. The system also includes a production center for receiving the data stream and compressing the data stream to generate a compressed data stream, for determining the number of one or more viewing devices subscribed or reserved to view the live event, and for determining data bandwidth consumption characteristics of the one or more viewing devices. Also included is a server for receiving the compressed data stream, the number of one or more viewing devices, and the data bandwidth consumption characteristics from the production center over a network. The server also duplicates and divides the compressed data stream out to the one or more viewing devices depending on the number of viewing devices subscribed or reserved (cyberseats reserved) to view the live event.
DELIVERING CONTENT
In one embodiment there is disclosed a content delivery system comprising: a communications network; a media component connected to the communications network, the media component configured to deliver media content for playout at a user device; an auxiliary content component connected to the communications network for providing auxiliary content for playout at a user device; an engagement monitoring component configured to monitor user engagement with auxiliary content played out at the user device; a storage component which holds engagement monitoring data in association with user identifiers; a content control module configured to receive, from a user device, a request for auxiliary content to be inserted in a playout session for playout at the user device, and selectively control delivery of the auxiliary content based on the engagement monitoring data associated with a user identifier for the user device.
Digital content and response processing system and method
Systems and methods are provided for allowing responses to offers displayed with digital content. The responses may be provided on a receiver system via a conventional feedback through the same distribution channel through which the content and offer were provided, or through an alternative channel, with data being transmitted from an alternative channel device to a transacting entity. For time-shifted playback, content is identified and time-adapted offers may be provided, taking into account factors such as the content, the time of play back, the date of play back, and so forth. The alternate response channel may be more suitable for time-adapted offer responses then for contemporaneously transmitted offers.
