Embodiments may relate to a user equipment (UE) that is configured to determine a real-time transport protocol (RTP) media flow that includes visual data related to a plurality of images concurrently taken of a location and a supplemental information enhancement (SEI) message that is to be used to display at least a portion of the visual data. The UE is further configured to visually display, based on the visual data and the SEI message, the portion of the visual data to a user of the user device. Ways to generate, store, and distribute optimized content are described. Content modification operations including color correction are stored as metadata that is embedded in each content item. The metadata is extracted in order to eliminate or update the modification operations. Modification operations are updated based at least partly on profiles associated with one or more content provision elements. The profiles include device profiles and codec profiles. Each profile may be specific to a particular element or be a generic profile associated with multiple elements. The profiles are generated based on evaluation of the devices and codes and are stored as entries in a look up table. When content is provided, the profiles are used to optimize the content for display.

The present invention is directed to a technique capable of preventing resources from being wastefully used due to continuous reproduction of video data which cannot be viewed by a user as the video data does not exist in a display range of a window or preventing the user from missing the video data. A CPU of a video transmission apparatus determines whether a reproduction frame of video data during reproduction is within a display range of a window. As a result of the determination, if the reproduction frame is not within the display range, the reproduction of the video data is stopped and a reproduction position is stored.

Methods, systems, and apparatuses for improved content scoring and delivery are described. A quality score for delivered content may be determined based on one or more output metrics. A first quality score may be provided to a content distribution network. The content distribution network may instruct the user device, or the user device may determine without receiving such an instruction, of methods/processes by which it may improve the one or more output metrics associated with output of the delivered content by adjusting one or more output parameters. The first quality score may also be used by the content distribution network to determine methods/processes by which network-related parameters and constraints may be managed in order to improve the quality of delivered content.

An image display system is configured such that an image display device and an image processing device are connected to each other through a network. The source computing device is configured to receive the input characteristics from the destination computing device and render the digital content to include one or more objects based on the one or more input characteristics. A system, method and computer program product for providing multimedia content. A content caching system communicates with client devices over a local network. The content caching system determines device playback characteristics for each client device. Location-specific multimedia representation types and content indicators are determined for the client devices. Content representations to pre-position are determined from the location-specific multimedia representation types and content indicators. The pre-position content representations are stored in the content caching system where they are available for playback by the client devices over the local network.
