MEDIA CONTENT DISPLAY SYNCHRONIZATION ON MULTIPLE DEVICES
A method for displaying media content on devices respectively linked to media players from a group of media players. The method includes the acts of: transmitting to the media players configuration data including data; transmitting data corresponding to the media content to at least one of the media players; transmitting to the media players data corresponding to a multicast address and to an entry port; selecting by the server a master media player among the at least one media player which received the data corresponding to the media content; sending by the master media player a multicast media stream using the multicast address and the entry port, the multicast media stream being obtained by the master media player from the data corresponding to the media content.
Picture processing method and related device
Embodiments of this application disclose a picture processing method, including: when a copy instruction is detected, obtaining positioning information included in a picture; modifying the positioning information in a preset information modification manner; and copying the picture whose positioning information is modified. The embodiments of this application further disclose a picture processing apparatus, a device, and a storage medium. According to the embodiments of this application, user privacy can be better protected, and information security can be improved.
System and method for messaging channels, story challenges, and augmented reality
A augmented reality glasses and social networking service coupled with immersive stories, pictures, and 360 video are enabled using one or more wireless communication devices, smart glasses, augmented reality devices, mobile devices, and wireless networks. Picture and video challenges are enabled to drive communication within members of the group. Users are enabled to describe presence for activity using a presence matching and monitoring subsystem. The ability to share stories with a select group of individuals is enabled. The stories may include automatically condensed highlights of an individual or group chat or acquired media. the social networking and messaging platform may have features including issuing status updates with timer clock in which it counts down, creating channels and groups based on events, location and occasions, creating stories based on specific content items from one or more users in one or more channels.
Dynamic video background responsive to environmental cues
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, generating a video scene adapted to establish an ambiance setting and providing the video scene to equipment of a user for presentation at a display device. A visual focus is detected of the user towards presentation of the video scene displayed proximate to the user and the video scene is modified responsive to the visual focus. The modifying of the video scene is adapted to discourage visual focus of the user towards the presentation of the video scene. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Generating media content items based on location information
Method for generating media content items based on location information starts with the server system receiving from a first computing device an electronic communication including location information from a location sensor coupled to the first client computing device. Server system then determines a current activity of a first user of the first client computing device based on the location information; generating a media content item including a map display based on the location information and at least one of: (i) an avatar of the first user engaged in the current activity, (ii) a status message associated with the current activity of the first user, or (iii) a status message associated with a map location on the map display. Server system then causes the media content item to be displayed on a display screen of at least one of a plurality of client computing devices. Other embodiments are described herein.
MULTIMEDIA CONTENT SECURE ACCESS
A method is disclosed for providing secure access to multimedia content to a user of a content service at a first user device configured to enable the user to consume the multimedia content. The method comprises: providing, from a second user device, a user identifier to a service provider of the content service, the second user device being provided with a subscriber identity module enabling the second user device to connect to a cellular communication network, the user identifier comprising an identifier of the subscriber identity module; at the second user device, receiving an access key from the service provider, through the cellular communication network, the access key being associated with the user identifier; providing the access key from the second user device to the first user device through a short-range connection, and at the first user device, using the access key to access the multimedia content.
TRACKING USER ENGAGEMENT AND USER IMPRESSIONS
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed to determining user engagement index and tracking user impressions. According to an aspect, OTT content is provided to a user and the OTT content prompts interactions from the user. Such interactions of the user with the OTT content are tracked. The user engagement index is determined based on the tracked interactions. According to another aspect, one or more impressions are received from a second set of users, where the one or more impressions include one or more content items. The corresponding geographical locations of the second set of users are identified. It is determined that the one or more impressions correspond to one or more products or services provided by a first set of users. The one or more received impressions are tagged to the corresponding products or services, and the corresponding geographical locations of the second set of users.
PREDICTING REGIONAL VIEWERSHIP FOR BROADCAST MEDIA EVENTS
Techniques for regional viewership predictions of broadcast events such as live broadcast professional sporting events. The techniques can make the predictions without a direct response variable such as regional viewership data for training a prediction model. Instead, in one technique, demand information for a good or service is used. From the demand information, a derivative demand for the good or service relative to a normal demand is determined. A regression framework is used to learn relationships between the derivative demand for the good or service and features of past live broadcast sporting events. This results in a matrix of feature weights. A non-parametric mixture framework is then used to find a set of feature weights that can be applied to features of future broadcast events to generate regional viewership predictions for the events.
ON DEMAND SHARED MEDIA STREAMING WITH LOCATIONAL AND TEMPORAL LIMITATIONS
A shared media streaming system is configured to allow audience members of a movie screening or other live event to view that event via a user device such as a personal smartphone if they exit the area of the live event to visit a concession area or restroom. The shared media stream begins displaying the film on the user device starting at the same moment that the request to stream was made so that the user may leave and return to the screening room without missing substantial portions of the film, and without re-watching already viewed portions of the film. Viewing is limited to particular geofenced areas within a theater, and is limited in time so that users must return to the screening room if they wish to continue watching the film beyond the limited time. Other limitations are also enforced to prevent misuse of the system.
DYNAMIC DIGITAL CONTENT DELIVERY USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI) TECHNIQUES
According to examples, a system for providing dynamic digital content may include a processor and a memory storing instructions. The processor, when executing the instructions, may cause the system to receive a plurality of data feeds. The processor may further analyze the data feeds to identify values for parameterized variables. A plurality of deep learning (DL) models can be trained to obtain product attribute data from the data feeds. The processor may then identify rules or triggers based on the values of the parameterized variables. The rules and/or triggers cause the processor to dynamically generate or select digital content and transmit the digital content to user communication devices of selected audience.
