METHOD FOR DISPLAYING VIEW HISTORY AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
The disclosure provides a display apparatus including a controller and a method for displaying view history in the display apparatus. The controller is configured to cause the display apparatus to perform: after logging in to a cloud account on the display apparatus, in response to a command for watching a first video item on the display of the display apparatus, generating a first view history record corresponding to the first video item; sending the first view history record to a server; inserting the first view history record into a first place of a second history information list; in response to receiving a command for displaying a view history interface, sending a request for view history to the server; in response to receiving first history information list, displaying preset images of first view history records included in the received first history information list on the view history interface.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA STREAMING DEVICES
An apparatus for a social media streaming device may include (i) a camera connector that connects to and receives streaming video data from an external camera, (ii) a device connector that connects to and sends the streaming video data to a mobile device with network streaming capabilities, and (iii) a video processing module that enables the social media streaming device to, via the mobile device with network streaming capabilities, post the streaming video data to an account on a social media platform on behalf of a user. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
METHOD FOR ESTABLISHING CO-HOSTING IN LIVE-STREAMING, AND TERMINAL
A method for establishing co-hosting in live-streaming is disclosed. The method includes: displaying a co-host mode setting portal in a live-streaming room of a first user account; displaying a first co-host mode, a second co-host mode, a third co-host mode in response to a trigger operation on the co-host mode setting portal, and the second user account is a viewer account in the live-streaming room; and determining a selected co-host mode as a target co-host mode for the live-streaming room in response to a select operation on any one of the first co-host mode, the second co-host mode, and the third co-host mode.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS AND CONTROLLING METHOD THEREOF
An electronic apparatus is provided. The electronic apparatus includes: a display; and a processor configured to: control the display to display a content based on one mode of a plurality of display modes, receive a user voice in real time while the content is being displayed, identify user's age information corresponding to the received user voice, identify whether or not the one mode is a kids mode when the identified user's age information is less than a threshold value, and change the one mode to the kids mode when it is identified that the one mode is not the kids mode.
Integrating authenticated pay television streams into mobile in-game sports gaming applications
In a system for integrating authentication of pay television streams for a sports gaming event using a graphical interface of a computing device application, the system including: a processor configured to: receive authentication information from a user; verify the authentication information with a media service provider; display a live video stream on the graphical interface in response to the verification of the authentication information; receive sports data about the sporting event via a network; access a database of historical statistics relating to the sporting event and to players playing in the sporting event; select at least one betting scenario from a betting scenario database based on the sports data and the historical statistics; display the at least one betting scenario on the graphical interface; and receive a response to the at least one betting scenario from the user.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING AND OPTIMIZING DELIVERY OF CONTENT IN A NETWORK
Methods and apparatus for delivering content to a user so as to optimize and enhance the “experience” of the content. In one embodiment, an optimization and monitoring entity (OME) is used which determines, evaluates, and provides notification and/or recommendation of alternative content delivery platforms which are available to a user. The OME receives requests for content forwarded from a content server containing information identifying requesting devices and/or subscriber accounts. The OME examines the capabilities of the registered devices, and identifies/recommends alternative devices based on e.g., video/audio quality, picture size, bandwidth availability, and/or any other additional capabilities of the client devices. A notification is then sent to the client devices indicating which of the user’s devices may receive the content alternatively, or in addition to, the requesting device. The notifications may be interactive, allowing the user to select one or more of the devices for delivery.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FLEXIBLE CONSUMPTION OF MEDIA CONTENT
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method including presenting a playlist of media content generated by a predictive model of preferences of a user of a system based on first prior media consumption associated with a subscription television service and second prior media consumption associated with an internet-based service, receiving a first selection of first media content from the playlist, presenting a menu of viewing devices for viewing the first media content, receiving a second selection of a first companion device for the first media content from the menu of viewing devices, transmitting the first selection and the second selection to a content provider, receiving the first media content from the content provider, and presenting the first media content. The content provider can transmit, to the first companion device, supplementary content, including internet-based content associated with the first media content, for presentation at a display.
Fine grain rights management of streaming content
The present invention provides methods, apparatuses, and systems for delivering protected streaming content to a receiving device. In an aspect of the present invention, a broadcaster provides streaming content. To ensure viewers are properly authorized, the streaming content is encrypted with a traffic key. The traffic key is provided to the users via a key stream message, which is encrypted with a service key. The user obtains at least one rights object from a rights issuers and the at least one rights object includes the service key so that the streaming content may be used. The at least one rights object also contains information regarding usage rights that may be configured by the rights issuer so that, depending on the user and/or the receiving device, different rights may be available. The key stream message may include a program category variable value that indicates the type of content and in conjunction with the rights object, determines what usage rights exist for the streaming content.
Real-time cloud-based video watermarking systems and methods
A video generation system is configured to provide streaming video as a cloud processed service to viewers over a computing network. In response to a request from a viewer, a video source is configured to provide video and an identifier source is configured to provide an identifier for inclusion in the video. A video encoder is configured to convert the video from a first format to a second format, apply the identifier to the video, and otherwise encode the video in real-time while streaming the encoded video to the viewer. The identifier may be stored in association with the account information of the viewer and used for identifying the viewer a source of an unauthorized video copy.
PERSONAL VIDEO RECORDER WITH LIMITED ATTACHED LOCAL STORAGE
This disclosure generally relates to systems and methods that facilitate employing a server based content recording component for recording content remotely for a client content video recording device that has limited storage and limited number of content streams to which it can access concurrently, while satisfying content rules for broadcast and re-transmission.
