A method for controlling a screen of a user terminal and a user terminal are provided. The method includes the follows. A touch operation on a screen is detected in a black screen state. When a preset condition is met, the screen is controlled to switch from the black screen state to a bright screen state.
WIRELESS BASE STATION, MOBILE STATION, WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, CONTROL METHOD FOR WIRELESS BASE STATION, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A wireless base station includes: a communication unit 101 configured to communicate with a mobile station which measures radio quality of a signal transmitted in each of a plurality of cells; an acquisition unit 102 configured to acquire load information related to a load of a network including a wireless base station forming the cell; and a control unit 103. The control unit 103 receives information indicating a measurement result of the radio quality of the signal transmitted in each of the plurality of cells and a state of a battery of the mobile station, from the mobile station via the communication unit, determines a signal, radio quality of which is to be measured by the mobile station, based on the measurement results of the radio qualities and the state of the battery of the mobile station, indicated in the information received, and the load information acquired by the acquisition unit, and notifies the signal determined to be measured to the mobile station via the communication unit.
Fast Discontinuous Reception (DRX) Cycle Adjustment
This document describes techniques that enable fast discontinuous reception (DRX) cycle adjustment. Using the described techniques, a user equipment can detect trigger events that indicate the user equipment may be in a state that can be mitigated by a DRX cycle configuration adjustment. In response to the trigger event, the user equipment can generate an instant DRX change request (IDCR). The user equipment can transmit the IDCR to a base station that is providing a current DRX cycle configuration and direct the base station to provide an adjusted DRX cycle configuration that is based at least in part on the IDCR. These techniques allow the user equipment to adjust the DRX cycle configuration when the user equipment is in a radio resource control (RRC)-inactive mode or an RRC-idle mode, which can enable the user equipment to quickly mitigate operating conditions such as low battery capacity.
Techniques for update procedure signaling in a wireless network
Techniques are described that can be used for efficient mobility management signaling. In some cases, a network can specify an extended timer used for a machine to machine (M2M) type device to communicate with a network. The extended timer can be transmitted in connection with an attachment acceptance message, Location Updating Accept message, Tracking Area Update Accept, or Routing Area Update Accept message. In some cases, a timer can be adjusted using a multiplier in order to increase a period at which communications with the network occur. The network can transmit an indication to change a timer by multiplying the timer with the multiplier.
AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE SUPPORTING ENDC (EUTRAN (Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network) NR (New Radio) Dual Connectivity AND A CONTROL METHOD OF THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to an electronic device supporting dual connectivity (ENDC) between a 4G network (LTE) and a 5G network (NR), and the electronic device may include a first communication module connected to a 4G base station to perform control and signal processing for transmission and reception of signals through a 4G network; a second communication module connected to a 5G base station to perform control and signal processing for transmission and reception of signals through a 5G network; an application processor (AP) that detects a change of an operation state of the electronic device when the operation state is changed; and a modem that activates only the first communication module to perform wireless communication with the 4G base station, or further activates the second communication module to perform wireless communication with both the 4G base station and the 5G base station according to the operation state of the electronic device detected by the AP.
Wireless communication terminal and wireless communication method
A wireless communication terminal includes a processor; and a non-transitory memory storing thereon a program which is executed by the processor, the program causing the processor to: transmit a first interest packet requesting transmission of an index of content to a plurality of communication devices via a content-oriented network; receive a first data packet from a first communication device among the plurality of communication devices in response to the first interest packet, wherein the first data packet includes i) the index and ii) first remaining battery level information indicating a remaining battery level of the first communication device, and determine to transmit to the first communication device a second interest packet requesting for transmission of the content to the wireless communication terminal when it is determined that the first remaining battery level information is more than a predetermined threshold value.
Techniques for predictive power management of a mobile device
Techniques for managing discussion sharing on a mobile platform, comprising a power application. The power application may include, among other components, a power monitoring component to monitor at least one component and/or at least one application of a mobile device to determine device profile information, and a power management component to provide the determined device profile information of a mobile device to a server device and receive predicted information representative of forecasted power utilization of the mobile device and/or context sensitive recommendation information representative of one or more context sensitive recommendations for the mobile device.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR REDUCING RESOURCE CONTENTION
Certain aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods and apparatus for reducing resource contention between two or more RATs supported by a User Equipment (UE). The UE may determine a first level of contention between Radio Frequency (RF) resources to be used by two or more Radio Access Technologies (RATs) supported by the UE over a given period of time for performing at least one type of receive activity, based at least on assigned Discontinuous Reception (DRX) cycles for the RATs. The UE may decide to initiate an update of a DRX cycle for at least one of the RATs to reduce the contention, at least if the determined first level is greater than a given threshold level of the contention over the given period of time.
Communications device for intelligently routing information among multiple user interfaces
A near field communications (NFC) device is disclosed that intelligently routes NFC data from a NFC device between multiple user interfaces based upon a power level of its internal batteries. The communications device utilizes a communications device user interface to send and/or receive the NFC data from the NFC device when its internal batteries are sufficient to operate the communications device user interface. The communications device begins to route some of this NFC data from being sent and/or received by the communications device user interface to a NFC user interface as its internal batteries deplete. Eventually, all of the NFC data will be sent to and/or received by the NFC user interface as the internal batteries of the communications device become so depleted that they are unable to reliably operate the communications device user interface.
Terminal using first or second transmit mode based on level of stored power
By switching the transmission mode according to the power amount of a power storage unit in a wireless communication terminal, appropriate communication performance is ensured. A communication unit transmits a packet. A comparison unit compares the power amount of the power storage unit with a predetermined threshold. A control unit causes the communication unit to transmit first transmission data in a first transmission mode in a case where the power amount of the power storage unit is larger than a predetermined threshold. Furthermore, the control unit causes the communication unit to transmit second transmission data including a known payload in a second transmission mode in a case where the power amount of the power storage unit is not larger than the predetermined threshold.
