WIRE TESTING METHOD AND DEVICE
Disclosed herein is a wire testing device that includes a body. The body includes a display screen, a speaker, lights, and one or more wire ports. The display screen includes a resistance indicator and one more ground test indicators. The one or more wire ports may connect to a temperature sensor, a resistance detector, a personal electronic device or other devices. The wire testing device may further be implemented as part of a thermostat for controlling an in-floor heating element.
HEATER MANAGEMENT BASED ON HEATER RESISTANCE
An electrically operated aerosol-generating system may be configured to detect adverse conditions (e.g., a dry heater). The system may comprise an electric heater comprising at least one heating element for heating an aerosol-forming substrate, a power supply, and electric circuitry connected to the electric heater and to the power supply and comprising a memory. The electric circuitry may be configured to measure an initial electrical resistance (R.sub.1) of the electric heater; measure a subsequent electrical resistance of the electric heater after the measurement of the initial electrical resistance; determine the difference (?R) between the initial electrical resistance and the subsequent electrical resistance; determine that an adverse condition is present if the difference is greater than a maximum threshold value (?R.sub.max) or less than a minimum threshold value (?R.sub.min) stored in the memory; and control a power to the electric heater and/or provide an indication if the adverse condition is present.
PLASTERBOARD LOOKALIKE BUILDING PANEL RADIANT HEATER
A heating panel including a thermally conductive (e.g. metal) layer, a laminar heating element disposed over a framing-facing side of the thermally conductive layer, an insulation layer disposed over the laminar heating element, and a room-facing surface layer disposed over at least the room-facing side of the thermally conductive layer. A method for heating a room may include installing at least one heating panel on a ceiling of the room and providing power to the heating element to generate heat that radiates into the room. The panel may be part of a heating system including a controller, such as a thermostat, for regulating power to the heating panel. A plurality of heating panels or a plurality of heating zones in one or more of the panels may be independently controllable.
Heating apparatus including batteries for storing electrical energy
An apparatus includes a heating body and batteries. The batteries are grouped so as to form a battery bank having a parallelepiped shape which defines anterior and posterior faces of this bank. The heating body forms at least one face located along one of the anterior or posterior faces of the battery bank, or above the battery bank. The apparatus also includes a first thermal insulation plate placed between the battery bank and the heating body.
Heating panel and method therefor
A radiant heating panel, for typical use as cover for interior walls and ceilings, is provided, that is manufactured in a continuous process involving at least one sheet material, a settable material and a heating element. A method of installing such a heating panel is also provided, along with an apparatus and method required to terminate the heating panel.
ENERGY REGULATING SYSTEM AND METHODS USING SAME
An energy regulating system for a habitable space or vehicle interior space is provided which includes a thermally conductive member, such as one or more sheets of flexible graphite member, in thermal communication with a heat source or cold source. The thermally conductive member having an exterior surface adapted to be exposed to an occupant of the vehicle or building. A controller is in operable communication with a power source connected to the heat source or cold source for regulating the temperature perceived by the occupant by varying the power supplied to the heat source or cold source.
Retractable mouthpiece and electronic cigarette having the same
A retractable mouthpiece includes an upper cover of a hollow structure with an receiving cavity, a lower cover that fits with the upper cover, a fastener arranged between the upper cover and the lower cover and housed inside the receiving cavity, a smoking pipe housed inside the receiving cavity, and an elastic component arranged between the smoking pipe and the lower cover. The fastener is sleeved on the smoking pipe, and the smoking pipe is extended out of the upper cover or retracted within the upper cover when the smoking pipe is pressed or rotated. The retractable mouthpiece is both healthy and convenient. An electronic cigarette with the retractable mouthpiece is disclosed.
Low temperature heat not burn electronic cigarette
The present invention relates to a low-temperature heat-not-burn electronic cigarette comprised of the first holder including a pipe and a mounting plate with the mounting plate connected to the external wall of the pipe. The mounting plate and the second holder are connected to form an inner cavity with a control plate fixed in the inner cavity and the second holder having a key linked to the buttons on the control plate with the buffer pads. The pipe has a corrugated internal wall and a movable cigarette cartridge. The pipe is inserted into an outer pipe. The outer pipe has an insulation retaining bracket and a battery with the insulation retaining bracket having an installation slot facing the cigarette cartridge and the heating coil on the installation slot.
HEATED SITTING SURFACE
Provided is technology suitable for public environments, such as sites serving transportation networks such as bus shelters and train stations, parks, public venues, stadiums, arenas, interior or exterior environment. The technology described herein provides a heated sitting surface. Moreover the present technology allows the production of new heated sitting surfaces
