ESD circuit with current leakage compensation
An ESD protection circuit includes a trigger transistor that is responsive to a detection signal indicating an ESD event. The trigger transistor pulls the voltage of a hold node towards a voltage of a power supply rail in response to the detection signal indicating an ESD event. The ESD protection circuit includes a replica trigger transistor whose leakage current controls current provided to the hold node after the detection signal no longer indicates an ESD event to compensate for leakage current through the trigger transistor.

An ESD protection device includes a first terminal and a second terminal defining a first balanced port, a third terminal and a fourth terminal defining a second balanced port, and a ground terminal. A first coil and a third coil are provided between the first terminal and the third terminal to cancel an inductance component of a first ESD protection circuit. A second coil and a fourth coil are provided between the second terminal and the fourth terminal to cancel an inductance component of a second ESD protection circuit.
LIGHTING DEVICE FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE, INCORPORATING MEANS FOR PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGES
The invention proposes a lighting device for a motor vehicle. Such a device includes one or more electronic circuits incorporating electronic components sensitive to an electrostatic discharge. Thanks to the features of the invention, the components are protected by encouraging the controlled flow to ground of any electrostatic discharges. All portions of one or more electronic circuits can therefore be protected by preventing random electrostatic discharges liable to destroy or to degrade sensitive electronic components.

Provided is a display apparatus including: a display panel including a display area and a peripheral area; a printed circuit board attached to the peripheral area and including a ground portion and a test electrode spaced apart from the ground portion; a connector including a plurality of connector terminals connected to an external control apparatus and electrically connecting the printed circuit board and the external control apparatus to each other; and a cover layer arranged on the printed circuit board and covering at least a part of the printed circuit board. Accordingly, not only the display quality and reliability of the electric characteristics of the display apparatus are improved, but also a loss is reduced and a yield is improved during manufacturing processes.

BAND PASS FILTER-BASED GALVANIC ISOLATOR
A galvanic isolator includes a multi-layer printed circuit board (PCB) including a dielectric material having a top side and a bottom side. An RF transmission line is embedded within the PCB including a plurality of conductor traces spaced apart from one another to include a plurality of gaps (G1 and G2) in a path of the RF transmission line to provide an inline distributed capacitor that together with an impedance of the RF transmission line forms a bandpass (BP) filter. A top metal layer is on the top side and a bottom metal layer on the bottom side connected to one another by a plurality of metal filled vias on respective sides of the RF transmission line. The top metal layer and bottom metal layer each also include at least one gap.
