Distributed energy generation and consumption monitoring and reporting device with modular communication upgradability and protection domains in hardware
An electrical unit with modular hardware structure in which more complex and unsafe portions of the device are restricted for access by a qualified electrician only, whereas safe areas are made accessible to a non-electrician user, such as a homeowner or a low expertise technician, to help diagnose issues and/or upgrade the functionality of the device without requiring the presence of a high expertise technician/electrician. The restricted portion includes a main Printed Circuit Board (PCB) that is selectively populated with certain circuit components and that contains electrical connections to enable the electrical unit to be operated in a number of different operating configurations depending on which components are populating the main PCB. A smaller, interconnect PCB also may be provided in the restricted portion and hardware-paired with the main PCB to facilitate wiring of the main PCB via the interconnect PCB and add further modularity to the electrical interconnect scheme.
MULTI-SOCKET SERVER ASSEMBLY
In some examples, a printed circuit board assembly can include a printed circuit board having four (4) central processor unit (CPU) sockets disposed thereon and sixty four (64) dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs) disposed thereon. The printed circuit board can have a top surface and a bottom surface with two (2) CPU sockets and thirty two (32) DIMMs disposed on the top surface and two (2) CPU sockets and thirty two (32) DIMMs disposed on the bottom surface.
HARD DISK FIXING STRUCTURE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE HARD DISK FIXING STRUCTURE
A fixing structure includes one holding member to be fixed to an electronic device. A hard disk is fixed to the holding member with a first vibration isolation member interposed therebetween, and a connection conversion board is fixed to the holding member with a second vibration isolation member interposed therebetween.
MULTI-CARD SUBSYSTEM FOR EMBEDDED COMPUTING SYSTEMS
A mounting frame apparatus is provided for embedding cards within an electronics system and includes a multi-card swappable subsystem. The apparatus further includes a chassis for containing the multi-card swappable subsystem. One or more heatsinks are used for cooling cards disposed in the four-card swappable subsystem.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS
According to an embodiment, an electronic apparatus includes a printed circuit board including a plurality of devices that include a nonvolatile memory package and a controller package configured to control the nonvolatile memory package, and a housing accommodating the printed circuit board. The housing includes an opening on a surface constituting the housing. An encryption device among the plurality of devices is present in a first region. The first region is a region on the printed circuit board that is not irradiated with light emitted from a light source placed at the opening. The encryption device is a device used for an encryption process of data to be stored into the nonvolatile memory package.

Holding component, support component and assembly
The invention relates to a holding component with a riser card for receiving an expansion component for a computer system. The riser card comprises a first mating plug connector on a first side of a bottom plate of the holding component. Further, the riser card comprises a first plug connector on a second side of the bottom plate opposite the first side. The holding component is adapted to receive the expansion component by establishing a plug connection of a second plug connector of the expansion component and the first mating plug connector on the holding component, wherein the holding component comprises a slot bracket, which is adapted to receive a slot angle of the expansion component. Furthermore, the invention relates to a support component for receiving at least one holding component and to an assembly comprising a chassis of a server module and of a holding component as well as of a support component.
Expansion Card, Mainboard, Server, and Expansion Card Manufacturing Method
An expansion card includes a circuit board, a connector component, and a plurality of cables. The connector component includes a first connector and a second connector that are disposed on the circuit board, where the first connector and the second connector are fastened together, and the first connector is configured to be connected to a plug-in card. One end of each of the plurality of cables is separately welded to terminals of the first connector and the second connector, and the other end of the cables is configured to be electrically connected to a first pairing connector and a second pairing connector of a mainboard.
