TECHNIQUES FOR THERMAL TREATMENT OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Apparatus and techniques are described herein for use in manufacturing electronic devices. such as can include organic light emitting diode (OLED) devices. Such apparatus and techniques can include using one or more modules having a controlled environment. For example, a substrate can be received from a printing system located in a first processing environment, and the substrate can be provided a second processing environment, such as to an enclosed thermal treatment module comprising a controlled second processing environment. The second processing environment can include a purified gas environment having a different composition than the first processing environment.

An apparatus is provided. The apparatus has a chuck having a first side configured to retain a superstrate or a template and a second side, an array of image sensors disposed at the second side of the chuck and spaced from the chuck, and an array of light sources disposed between the transparent chuck and the array of image sensors.
STRUCTURE MANUFACTURING METHOD AND STRUCTURE MANUFACTURING DEVICE
A process of preparing a wafer having a diameter of two inches or more, at least a surface of the wafer being formed from a group III nitride crystal, including preparing an alkaline or acidic etching liquid containing a peroxodisulfate ion as an oxidizing agent that accepts an electron, accommodating the wafer such that the surface of the wafer is immersed in the etching liquid such that the surface of the wafer is parallel with a surface of the etching liquid; and radiating light from the surface side of the etching liquid onto the surface of the wafer without agitating the etching liquid. First and second etching areas disposed at an interval from each other are defined on the surface of the wafer. In the process of radiating the light onto the surface of the wafer, the light is radiated perpendicularly onto surfaces of the first and second etching areas.
HYBRID PATTERNING-BONDING SEMICONDUCTOR TOOL
A device includes a first set of modules configured for wafer shape correction and a second set of modules configured for wafer bonding. The first set of modules includes a metrology module configured to measure wafer shape data of a first wafer and a second wafer, including relative z-height values of the first wafer and the second wafer. A stressor film deposition module is configured to form a first stressor film on the first wafer. A stressor film modification module is configured to modify the first stressor film based on a first modification map that defines adjustments to internal stresses of the first wafer and is generated based on the wafer shape data. The second set of modules includes an alignment module configured to align the first wafer with the second wafer, and a bonding module configured to bond the first wafer to the second wafer.
TREATMENT CONDITION SETTING METHOD, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND SUBSTRATE TREATMENT SYSTEM
This method includes: a step of imaging, by an imaging apparatus in a substrate treatment system, a reference substrate which is a reference for condition setting and acquiring a captured image of the reference substrate; a step of imaging, by the imaging apparatus, a treated substrate on which the predetermined treatment has been performed under a current treatment condition and acquiring a captured image of the treated substrate; a step of calculating a deviation amount in color information between the captured image of the treated substrate and the captured image of the reference substrate; a step of calculating a correction amount of the treatment condition based on a correlation model acquired in advance and on the deviation amount in the color information; and a step of setting the treatment condition based on the correction amount, wherein steps other than the step of acquiring a captured image of the reference substrate are performed for each of the treatment apparatuses.
INTEGRATED DRY PROCESSES FOR PATTERNING RADIATION PHOTORESIST PATTERNING
Methods for making thin-films on semiconductor substrates, which may be patterned using EUV, include: depositing the organometallic polymer-like material onto the surface of the semiconductor substrate, exposing the surface to EUV to form a pattern, and developing the pattern for later transfer to underlying layers. The depositing operations may be performed by chemical vapor deposition (CVD), atomic layer deposition (ALD), and ALD with a CVD component, such as a discontinuous, ALD-like process in which metal precursors and counter-reactants are separated in either time or space.
RETICLE CARRIER AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A reticle carrier described herein is configured to quickly discharge the residual charge on a reticle so as to reduce, minimize, and/or prevent particles in the reticle carrier from being attracted to and/or transferred to the reticle. In particular, the reticle carrier may be configured to provide reduced capacitance between an inner baseplate of the reticle carrier and the reticle. The reduction in capacitance may reduce the resistance-capacitance (RC) time constant for discharging the residual charge on the reticle, which may increase the discharge speed for discharging the residual charge through support pins of the reticle carrier. The increase in discharge speed may reduce the likelihood that an electrostatic force in the reticle carrier may attract particles in the reticle carrier to the reticle. This may reduce pattern defects transferred to substrates that are patterned using the reticle, may increase semiconductor device manufacturing quality and yield, and may reduce scrap and rework of semiconductor devices and/or wafers.
CLEANING METHOD, METHOD FOR FORMING SEMICONDUCTOR STRUCTURE AND SYSTEM THEREOF
A method for cleaning a reflective photomask, a method of manufacturing a semiconductor structure, and a system for forming a semiconductor structure are provided. The method for cleaning a reflective photomask includes placing a photomask in a first chamber, and performing a dry cleaning operation on the photomask in the first chamber, wherein the dry cleaning operation includes providing hydrogen radicals to the first chamber, generating hydrocarbon gases as a result of reactions of the hydrogen radicals, and removing the hydrocarbon gases from the first chamber.
