The second link has a second end rotatably coupled to the yoke. The handle is coupled to the pivot assembly such that movement of the handle causes movement of the yoke.

A device for positioning a bone plate includes a body having a first end having a first curved portion and a second end having a second curved portion. Each curved portion terminates at an abutment. Each abutment has a first diameter and the curved portions have a second diameter less than the first diameter. The release mechanism includes a pair of pins slidably supported within the outer tube, wherein each pin is selectively receivable within a respective opening of the pair of openings formed in the trocar housing; a release button supported in the outer tube and movable between an extended condition and a depressed condition; and a spring clip slidably supported in the outer tube, the spring clip interconnecting the release button and the pair of pins.

A method and apparatus are disclosed for cutting a strand of suture. The apparatus comprises a solid outer member defining a lumen there-through. An inner member is received at least partially within the lumen, a portion of the inner member defining a curve. The inner member further defines a feature for retaining a strand of suture. At least one of the inner and outer members are moveable with respect to the other of the inner and outer members for cutting the strand of suture.
