Semiconductor device
The semiconductor device includes a semiconductor element, and an electro-conductive first plate-like part electrically connected to a top-face-side electrode of the semiconductor element and including a first joint part projecting from a side face, and an electro-conductive second plate-like part including a second joint part projecting from a side face. A bottom face of the first joint part and a top face of the second joint part face one another, and are electrically connected via an electro-conductive bonding material. A bonding-material-thickness ensuring means is provided in a zone where the bottom face of the first joint part and the top face of the second joint part face one another to ensure a thickness of the electro-conductive bonding material between an upper portion of a front end of the second joint part and the bottom face of the first joint part.
Electrical connection member, electrical connection structure, and method for manufacturing electrical connection member
An electrical connection member (1, 301, 401, 501, 601) includes a clad material (10, 110, 610) including at least both a first Cu layer (12) made of a Cu material and a low thermal expansion layer (11) made of an Fe material or Ni material having an average thermal expansion coefficient from room temperature to 300 C. smaller than that of the first Cu layer, the first Cu layer and the low thermal expansion layer being bonded to each other.

Connecting strip for discrete and power electronic devices
A connecting strip of conductive elastic material having an arched shape having a concave side and a convex side. The connecting strip is fixed at the ends to a support carrying a die with the convex side facing the support. During bonding, the connecting strip undergoes elastic deformation and presses against the die, thus electrically connecting the at least one die to the support.

The connecting strip is fixed at the ends to a support carrying a die with the convex side facing the support. During bonding, the connecting strip undergoes elastic deformation and presses against the die, thus electrically connecting the at least one die to the support.
POWER CHIP PACKAGE STRUCTURE
A power chip package structure includes a power chip, a first transmission member, two second transmission members, an encapsulant, and an insulating inorganic member. The first and second transmission members are connected to the power chip. The power chip, the first and second transmission members are embedded in the encapsulant. The encapsulant has a layout surface and a slot recessed in the layout surface, and the first and second transmission members are exposed from the layout surface. The first transmission member and an adjacent one of the two second transmission members are spaced apart from each other through the slot by a separation distance. The insulating inorganic member is fixed in the slot. The first transmission member and the adjacent second transmission member jointly define a creepage path that travels along an outer surface of the insulating inorganic member and that is greater than the separation distance.
