Provided is a semiconductor device applicable to both types of packages regardless of whether or not double bonding of a lead frame pad is allowed. The semiconductor device includes: an operational amplifier; a feedback resistor; a reference voltage generation circuit; an output transistor; a first pad which is connected to an output terminal of the output transistor, and is to be selectively connected to a lead frame pad by a bonding wire; a second pad to be selectively connected to the lead frame pad by a bonding wire; and a connection switching element provided between the first pad and the second pad. In a case in which the second pad is connected to the lead frame pad by the bonding wire, the connection switching element interrupts connection between the first pad and the second pad.

A fan-out wafer level package includes a semiconductor die with a redistribution layer on a sidewall of the semiconductor die. A redistribution layer positioned over the die includes an extended portion that extends along the sidewall. The semiconductor die is encapsulated in a molding compound layer. The molding compound layer is positioned between the extended portion of the redistribution layer and the sidewall of the semiconductor die. Solder contacts, for electrically connecting the semiconductor device to an electronic circuit board, are positioned on the redistribution layer. The solder contacts and the sidewall of the redistribution layer can provide electrical contact on two different locations. Accordingly, the package can be used to improve interconnectivity by providing vertical and horizontal connections.

A light emitting device package includes a first molding member surrounding a heat dissipation frame, a first electrode frame, and a second electrode frame; a first semiconductor light emitting device on the heat dissipation frame and having first and second pads; a second semiconductor light emitting device on the heat dissipation frame and having first and second pads; a wavelength conversion layer on the first and second semiconductor light emitting structures; a first bonding wire connected to the first pad of the first semiconductor light emitting device and the first electrode frame; a second bonding wire connected to the second pad of the second semiconductor light emitting device and the second electrode frame; and an inter-chip bonding wire connecting the second pad of the first semiconductor light emitting device to the first pad of the second semiconductor light emitting device.

An interlayer insulating film covers the second member and an area of the first surface of the first member to which the second member is not joined. An inter-member connection wire on the interlayer insulating film couples the first and second electronic circuits through an opening in the interlayer insulating film. A shield structure including a first metal pattern disposed on the interlayer insulating film shields a shielded circuit, which is part of the first electronic circuit, in terms of radio frequencies.
