A seat belt restraint system locking tongue (10) having a locking member (30) which moves to a locked position to clamp a webbing (3) inserted in a shoulder-side webbing insertion slot (12) to restrict movement of the webbing (3). A tongue body (11) includes a restricting portion (25) near the shoulder-side webbing insertion slot (12) to clamp the webbing (3) with the locking member (30) when the locking member (3) moves to the locked position. The length in the longitudinal direction of the webbing insertion slot (12), of a portion of the restricting portion (25) that contacts the webbing (3) to clamp the webbing (3) is smaller than the width of the webbing (3). The locking tongue prevents fraying of the webbing (3) and improves the clamping performance in the event of a vehicle crash.

A belt device in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention comprises a first belt segment with a first tapered end and a second tapered end. A second belt segment attached to the first tapered end. A third belt segment attached to the second tapered end. A first material gripping device attached to the second belt segment. A second material gripping device attached to the third belt segment. The first belt segment is longer and wider than the second belt segment and the first belt segment is longer and wider than the third belt segment. The first belt segment is non-adjustable and the second belt segment and the third belt segment each have an independently adjustable length.

The present invention relates to coupling elements to couple belts, particularly abdominal belts and tension bands. The coupling elements can particularly be used for belts of braces or orthoses.

In an example, a wearable article includes a nonwoven textile sheet having a first portion and a second portion contiguous with the first portion. The first portion has a first density and a first modulus of elasticity. The second portion has a second density less than the first density and has a second modulus of elasticity less than the first modulus of elasticity. The first portion is shaped differently than the second portion as an integral implement of the wearable article. A method of manufacturing a wearable article may comprise thermoforming the first portion while the second portion contiguous with the thermoformed first portion is not thermoformed.

A ratchet buckle including a housing and a ratcheting assembly. The housing includes a top cover and a bottom cover. The bottom cover is configured to couple to the top cover to form a channel between the top and bottom covers. The ratcheting assembly is disposed in the channel. The ratcheting assembly includes a lever clasp and a rocker pin. The rocker pin is configured to rotatably couple to the lever clasp and includes a body and a rocker tooth that projects from the body. The rocker tooth is configured to be in a locked orientation absent user interaction with the lever clasp. Responsive to the user interaction with the lever clasp, the rocker tooth is to be in an unlocked orientation.

The present invention relates to a quick release buckle belt, comprising a strap and a buckle. The buckle includes a connecting piece and a buckle body. The connecting piece is firmly secured to one end of the strap, and the connecting piece is substantially made of non-metal materials. One end of the buckle body is configured to fasten or unfasten another end of the strap. Another end of the buckle body is configured to quickly attach to or detach from the connecting piece. The buckle body is made of metal materials unacceptable for metal detectors at security checkpoints. Therefore, a user who wears such belt needs to do before walking through the metal detectors is to remove the buckle body, without taking off the strap and the non-metallic connecting piece which is acceptable for the metal detector at security checkpoint.

A single-sided or reversible belt includes a single-sided or double-sided belt strap without any adjusting hole, any popular belt buckle of a frame style or plate style with its prong or projection removed, and new belt fastening means. The belt buckle is providable with a retainer loop on the rear side adjacent an outer end to keep the outer end portion of the belt buckle from dangling after belt buckling. A first fastening element is installed on underside or double sides of a belt strap free end portion, for example. An adjustably slidable locking belt clip is then used to engage a belt strap fixed end portion and carries a mating second fastening element. For belt fastening, the belt clip is manually slid along the engaged belt strap end portion to keep the two fastening elements aligned, leading to having them fastened together. This kind of belt may be used on such articles as trousers and shoes.

The present invention provides a bag with adjustable shoulder straps includes: an accommodating unit having an internal space capable of keeping an object; a first upper strap and a second upper strap each being connected to both sides of an upper portion of the accommodating unit, respectively; a first lower strap and a second lower strap each being connected to both sides of a lower portion of the accommodating unit; a first coupling module coupling the first upper strap to the first lower strap to be rotatable and having a first locking portion; and a second coupling module coupling the second upper strap to the second lower strap to be rotatable and having a second locking portion detachably locked to the first locking portion, and a shoulder strap assembly and a rotary type coupler for the bag.

A first adjuster portion joined to a second adjuster portion whereby the first adjuster portion is oriented to receive one of multiple loops of strap and said second adjuster buckle is oriented to receive an opposing lead strap. The multiple loops of strap are routed so as to create mechanical advantage by pulling on the free end of the strap, commonly referred to as a block and tackle. The lead strap enables an operator to quickly and conveniently pre-tension both the block and tackle and lead straps by removing an un-tensioned length of the lead strap before having to apply increased leverage through the block and tackle strap. That is, the first adjuster arrangement may be operated only to tension a block and tackle strap that has been pre-tensioned with the second adjuster, thereby facilitating the use of the combined assembly.

Provided is a buckle including a plug member and a socket member, wherein the plug member includes lock arms and a guide rod located at a middle position between the lock arms, and the socket member includes a holder formed in a chamber so as to catch the lock arm. The guide rod is provided on the front end thereof with a holding member, and the socket member is centrally provided with a guide groove for the coupling of the guide rod and is also provided with a holding protrusion for the coupling of the holding member. As such, in addition to the coupling between the lock arm and the holder, another coupling structure is provided so as to prevent the buckle from being easily unfastened by unintentional external contact or pressure while ensuring convenient separation of the buckle with one hand as needed.
