VEHICLE INCLUDING FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A vehicle may include a fuel cell system configured for generating electrical energy used in the vehicle using hydrogen, an engine system including an engine and configured for generating power of the vehicle using hydrogen, an exhaust system that purifies exhaust gas discharged from the engine, and a hydrogen supply system connected to the fuel cell system, the engine system and the exhaust system, and configured for supplying the hydrogen used in the fuel cell system and the engine system, and ammonia (NH3) used in the exhaust system.
MANUFACTURABLE HUMIDIFIER
A method for assembling a fuel cell humidifier can include steps of providing a first humidifier plate and a humidifier membrane. The first humidifier plate can have a first top plate surface. The humidifier membrane can have a bottom membrane surface. The bottom membrane surface of the humidifier membrane can be disposed on the first top plate surface of the first humidifier plate. The first humidifier plate can be partially melted. This can permit the first top plate surface of the first humidifier plate to permeate into the bottom membrane surface of the humidifier membrane. The first humidifier plate can be cooled, which can fuse the first top plate surface of the first humidifier plate with the bottom membrane surface of the humidifier membrane.
Water electrolysis and electricity generating system
A water electrolysis and electricity generating system is equipped with a water introduction flow path, an oxygen-containing gas flow path, an oxygen-containing gas introduction flow path, a first gas-liquid separator, and a dilution flow path. The oxygen-containing gas introduction flow path introduces the oxygen-containing gas that flows through the oxygen-containing gas flow path into the first supply flow path. The first gas-liquid separator separates into a gas and a liquid the gas-containing water that is guided from the first lead-out flow path connected to the first outlet port member. The dilution flow path guides the oxygen-containing gas that flows through the oxygen-containing gas flow path to the first gas-liquid separator as a diluting gas.
Vehicle having a fuel cell system, and method for treating a fluid emerging from the fuel cell system
A vehicle is provided having a vehicle front end in which a fuel cell system which has a fuel cell stack is arranged, which full cell system is, at a cathode side, connected at least directly to an exhaust-gas line through which a fluid emerging from the fuel cell stack can be discharged from the vehicle front end. The exhaust-gas system comprises a sorption system for the adsorption of a liquid of the fluid emerging from the fuel cell stack. The invention furthermore relates to a method for treating a fluid of a fuel cell system, which has a fuel cell stack, in a vehicle.
Protonic ceramic fuel cell system
Electrochemical systems for distributed energy generation, comprising protonic ceramic fuel cells (PCFCs), are provided. The systems of the present invention allow for operation at lower stack temperatures than current solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) systems. These systems can achieve various advantages and benefits over SOFC systems, such as higher fuel utilization, improved cell voltage, and air ratio optimization.
HUMIDIFIER CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD AND FUEL CELL SYSTEM USING THE SAME
The disclosure provides a humidifier control apparatus including a humidifier; a reservoir tank configured to store condensed water discharged from the humidifier; a heating unit configured to apply heat to the reservoir tank; and a drain valve configured to discharge the condensed water stored in the reservoir tank.
Fuel cell system and condensate water storage device
A condensate water storage device including a storage container defining a storage space to store condensate water, and having a discharge hole through which the condensate water is discharged to the outside, a valve unit to selectively open and close the discharge hole, a connection cable connected to the valve unit, and a winding unit connected to the connection cable to selectively wind the connection cable and manipulate an operation of the valve unit, thereby selectively discharging the condensate water, which is produced from a fuel cell.
Fuel Cell Cooling
A method of operating a fuel cell system (100) comprising a fuel cell stack (110) and a closed loop water cooling circuit for direct injection of cooling water into the stack (110), the method comprising: measuring an operational parameter of the fuel cell system (100) over a time period; adding an amount of water to the closed loop cooling circuit from the total amount of water generated during operation of the fuel cell stack (110) over the time period; and removing the amount of water from the closed loop cooling circuit generated during operation of the fuel cell stack (110) over the time period is automatically determined by the fuel cell system (100) as a function of the operational parameter.
FUEL CELL HUMIDIFIER
The present invention relates to a fuel cell humidifier comprising: a humidifying module for humidifying dry gas, supplied from outside, by using wet gas discharged from a fuel cell stack; and a first cap coupled to one end of the humidifying module, wherein the humidifying module comprises a mid-case, and at least one cartridge which is disposed in the mid-case and accommodates a plurality of hollow fiber membranes. The fuel cell humidifier further comprises a first packing member airtightly coupled to at least one end of the humidifying module through mechanical assembly so that the first cap may fluidly communicate with only the hollow fiber membranes, wherein the first packing member tightly adheres to the cartridge by using the pressure of at least one among the dry gas and wet gas.
