ANALOG TO DIGITAL CONVERTOR (ADC) USING A COMMON INPUT STAGE AND MULTIPLE PARALLEL COMPARATORS
An Analog to Digital (ADC) is provided, where the ADC may include a sample and hold circuitry to sample an analog input signal, and a summation block to iteratively generate a subtraction signal. The subtraction signal may be based on a difference between the analog input signal and a feedback signal. The ADC may further include a common input stage to receive the subtraction signal, and a plurality of comparison and latch circuitries arranged in parallel, where individual ones of the plurality of parallel comparison and latch circuitries may sequentially receive an output of the common input stage.
Ultra-Low Power Static State Flip Flop
At least some embodiments are directed to a flip-flop that comprises a tri-state inverter and a master latch coupled to the tri-state inverter and comprising a first transistor, a first inverter, and a first logic gate. The master latch receives a clock signal. The flop also comprises a slave latch coupled to the master latch and comprising a second transistor and a second inverter. The slave latch receives the clock signal. The flop further comprises an enablement logic coupled to the master latch and comprising multiple, additional logic gates. The tri-state inverter, the master and slave latches, and the enablement logic are configured so that when a flip-flop input signal D and a flip-flop output signal Q are identical and the clock signal is toggled, a state of the master latch and a state of the slave latch remain static.
STROBE GENERATION CIRCUIT AND SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE INCLUDING THE SAME
A strobe generation circuit includes: a main hybrid multiplexing circuit outputting a main pull-up signal and a main pull-down signal to first and second nodes, respectively, the main pull-up and pull-down signals being selectively controlled based on first pull-up and pull-down control signals generated by removing an input loading of main data; a sub hybrid multiplexing circuit outputting a sub pull-up signal and a sub pull-down signal to the first and second nodes, respectively, the sub pull-up and pull-down signals being selectively controlled based on second pull-up and pull-down control signals generated by removing an input loading of sub data; a latch circuit latching a signal of the first node and a signal of the second node to output a first latch signal and a second latch signal; and an output driver outputting a strobe signal according to the first and second latch signals.
Ultra-low power static state flip flop
At least some embodiments are directed to a flip-flop that comprises a tri-state inverter and a master latch coupled to the tri-state inverter and comprising a first transistor, a first inverter, and a first logic gate. The master latch receives a clock signal. The flop also comprises a slave latch coupled to the master latch and comprising a second transistor and a second inverter. The slave latch receives the clock signal. The flop further comprises an enablement logic coupled to the master latch and comprising multiple, additional logic gates. The tri-state inverter, the master and slave latches, and the enablement logic are configured so that when a flip-flop input signal D and a flip-flop output signal Q are identical and the clock signal is toggled, a state of the master latch and a state of the slave latch remain static.

A semiconductor circuit includes: a first circuit configured to propagate a value of a first node to a second node based on a voltage level of a clock signal; a second circuit configured to propagate a value of the second node to a third node based on the voltage level of the clock signal; and a third circuit configured to determine a value of the third node based on a voltage level of the second node and the voltage level of the clock signal, wherein the first circuit comprises a first transistor gated to a voltage level of the first node, a second transistor connected in series with the first transistor and gated to the voltage level of the third node, and a third transistor connected in parallel with the first and second transistors and gated to a voltage level of the clock signal to provide the value of the first node to the second node.
Flip flop including serial stack structure transistors
A flip flop includes a precharge circuit configured to charge a first node by bridging a power voltage node and the first node, the charging of the first node by the precharge circuit according to a voltage level of a clock signal, the charging of the first node by the precharge circuit based on at least two PMOS transistors arranged in series, a discharge circuit configured to discharge the first node by bridging the first node and a ground node, the discharging of the first node according to an input signal and the clock signal, and a second node configured to be charged or discharged, the charging and the discharging of the second node according to a voltage level of the first node.
Clock gating circuit

A semiconductor circuit includes a first circuit configured to propagate a value of a first node to a second node based on a voltage level of a clock signal; a second circuit configured to propagate a value of the second node to a third node based on the voltage level of the clock signal; and a third circuit configured to determine a value of the third node based on a voltage level of the second node and the voltage level of the clock signal, wherein the first circuit comprises a first transistor gated to a voltage level of the first node, a second transistor connected in series with the first transistor and gated to the voltage level of the third node, and a third transistor connected in parallel with the first and second transistors and gated to a voltage level of the clock signal to provide the value of the first node to the second node.
Flip-flop and driving method thereof
A flip-flop includes a conditional boosting stage, a pulse generator and a latch. The conditional boosting stage includes a boosting capacitor, and is configured to pre-charge the boosting capacitor in accordance with a previous output signal and boost a node connected to the boosting capacitor upon a level the previous output signal being different from a level of a current input signal. The pulse generator is configured to generate a pulsed signal in accordance with transitions of a clock signal. The latch configured is to latch the current input signal to a current output signal in accordance with the pulsed signal.
