DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION OPERATION FOR SIDELINK COMMUNICATIONS
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some wireless communications systems, a user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a configuration for performing a sidelink discontinuous reception procedure, where the configuration indicates a duration of a timer associated with an active duration for the first UE to receive sidelink retransmissions during the sidelink discontinuous reception procedure. The UE may then receive a first sidelink communication including data and may, in some cases, transmit feedback requesting a retransmission of the data. The UE may then receive second sidelink communication including the retransmitted data. Prior to receiving the second sidelink communication including the retransmitted data, the UE may initiate the timer according to the configuration. Thus, the UE may be in an active mode to receive the second sidelink communication.
Methods and devices for receipt status reporting
A method of receipt status reporting in a communication device, comprising configuring (S1) said communication device for periodic receipt status reporting by associating a first status report type with a value of a first reporting periodicity parameter and associating a second status report type with a value of second reporting periodicity parameter, said first status report type being different from said second status report type and said first reporting periodicity parameter being different from said second reporting periodicity parameter, and periodically (S2) sending receipt status reports of said first type according to said associated value of said first reporting periodicity parameter and receipt status reports of said second type according to said associated value of said second reporting periodicity parameter.
HANDLING OF HARQ AND RETRANSMISSION TIMERS FOR SIDELINK DRX OPERATIONS
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for handling acknowledgement and retransmission timers during sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) communication. An example method by a transmitter user equipment (UE) generally includes transmitting a first repetition of a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH) to a receiver UE prior to entering an inactive state, while the transmitter UE is operating in a sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) mode; returning to an active state to monitor for acknowledgment feedback from the receiver UE, wherein the return is based on a first timer relative to an end of the first repetition of the PSSCH; remaining in the active state for a duration defined by a second timer; and taking one or more actions depending on whether the transmitter UE receives acknowledgment feedback during the duration indicating failed reception of the first repetition of the PSSCH by the receiver UE.
SIDELINK RESOURCE ALLOCATION AND MAC RESET
A method and apparatus for sidelink resource allocation and media access control (MAC) reset is provided. A wireless device, which is configured with network scheduled resource allocation for sidelink, sets new data indicators (NDIs) for all hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process identifiers (IDs) specific to the sidelink to value 0, based on a media access control (MAC) reset being requested by an upper layer of the wireless device.
COMMUNICATION METHOD, APPARATUS, AND SYSTEM
Embodiments of this application provide a communication method, apparatus, and system. The method includes: A first terminal starts a first timer after sending feedback information to a second terminal. The first timer indicates not to listen to sidelink control information and/or sidelink data information in at least one time unit after the first timer is started. In other words, within start duration of the first timer, the second terminal does not send the sidelink control information and/or the sidelink data information to the first terminal. Therefore, the first terminal does not need to listen to the sidelink control information and/or the sidelink data information within the duration. This can save energy.
BLIND RETRANSMISSIONS WITH SIDELINK DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION IN MODE 1
Aspects of the disclosure relate to sidelink discontinuous reception (DRX) procedures for blind sidelink retransmissions. A first device may obtain a set of sidelink communication parameters that are associated with a second device. Based at least in part on the set of sidelink communication parameters, the first device may transmit to the second device a sidelink blind retransmission configuration. This configuration may include enablement of sidelink blind retransmission and/or establishment of a number of sidelink blind retransmissions. Other aspects, examples, and features are also claimed and described.
Reliable data packet transmission among entities of a radio access network of a mobile communication network
A user equipment for a mobile communication network is provided. The mobile communication network has a radio access network including a plurality of cells and being configured to serve the user equipment within a cell. To receive a data packet from the radio access network, the user equipment is configured to receive a plurality of different versions of the data packet transmitted by the radio access network to the user equipment in parallel via different physical resources. To provide a data packet to the radio access network, the user equipment is configured to provide a plurality of different versions of the data packet and to transmit the plurality of different versions of the data packet to the radio access network in parallel via different physical resources.
TERMINAL, RADIO COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND BASE STATION
A terminal according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes a receiving section that receives downlink control information (DCI) for scheduling a downlink shared channel of a multicast; and a control section that controls transmission of Hybrid Automatic Repeat reQuest ACKnowledgement (HARQ-ACK) with respect to the downlink shared channel based on the DCI, wherein the DCI is common to a plurality of terminals. According to one aspect of the present disclosure, a PDSCH using the multicast can be appropriately received.
Discontinuous Reception Operation of Multicast and Broadcast Services
A wireless device receives parameters indicating: a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip time (RTT) timer of a multicast and broadcast service (MBS), and a feedback indicator indicating whether HARQ feedback is enabled. The wireless device receives a group common DCI scheduling a transport block (TB) of the MBS. In response to the feedback indicator indicating that HARQ feedback is enabled, the wireless device transmits a HARQ feedback with a negative value based on the TB being unsuccessfully decoded, starts the HARQ RTT timer after transmitting the HARQ feedback, and monitors, in response to the HARQ RTT timer expiring, a downlink control channel for a retransmission of the TB.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECEIVING UE TO PERFORM POWER SAVING OPERATION BASED ON PSFCH IN NR V2X
A method of operating a first apparatus 100 in a wireless communication system is proposed. The method may comprise: obtaining an SL DRX configuration including information related to an SL DRX HARQ RTT timer; receiving SCI for scheduling a PSSCH from a second apparatus through a PSCCH based on an active time of the SL DRX configuration; receiving a MAC PDU through the PSSCH from the second apparatus; and starting the SL DRX HARQ RTT timer, based on that a PSFCH resource is configured in an SL grant related to the SCI and that a HARQ feedback related to the MAC PDU is disabled.
