Wireless device control channel monitoring

A wireless device comprises one or more processors and memory storing instructions. When executed by the one or more processors, the instructions cause the wireless device to receive messages comprising a downlink hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round-trip-time (RTT) timer value expressed in units of symbols and a downlink discontinuous reception (DRX) retransmission timer value expressed in units of slot lengths, receive a downlink control information indicating downlink transmission of a transport block, start a downlink HARQ RTT timer with the downlink HARQ RTT timer value in response to receiving the downlink control information, start a downlink DRX retransmission timer with the downlink DRX retransmission timer value in response to the downlink HARQ RTT timer expiring and the transport block not being successfully decoded, and monitor a downlink control channel while the downlink DRX retransmission timer is running.

The method includes: receiving downlink data and decoding the received downlink data by the UE; when the decoding is not successful, starting a timer for receiving retransmitted data; when the downlink data has been received by a configured downlink assignment, operating a downlink carrier, through which the downlink data has been received, in an active time; and when the downlink data has been received by a dynamic transmission resource and the downlink carrier, through which the downlink data has been received, is different from a downlink carrier, through which a scheduling command for the downlink data has been received, operating the downlink carrier, through which the scheduling command for the downlink data has been received, and the downlink carrier, through which the downlink data has been received, in an active time.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DISCONTINUOUS RECEPTION

A method and device for discontinuous reception are provided, and can further reduce a power consumption of a terminal device in a DRX process. The method includes: detecting, by a terminal device, a wakeup signal in a first time period; starting a drx-onDurationTimer in a DRX cycle after the first time period if the terminal device detects the wakeup signal; and/or, not starting the drx-onDurationTimer in the DRX cycle after the first time period if the terminal device does not detect the wakeup signal.

Method for expiring fault-tolerant timers using distributed locks

Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture provide for fault-tolerant timers, such as in an online gaming environment. Fault-tolerant timers may, for example, be provided by implementing specific methods for expiring a timer, such as by utilizing broadcast notices and distributed locks.

Power Saving Method for Monitoring Data Channel
20220312316 · 2022-09-29 ·

A power saving method for monitoring data channel is proposed. The network node may indicate that the UE can enter a power saving mode by transmitting a DCI to the UE. The DCI may indicate a power saving duration and an additional monitoring duration. The power saving duration may indicate the length of the power saving mode and the starting point and the end point of the power saving mode. The additional monitoring duration may indicate that the UE needs to perform monitoring for a period of time before the power saving mode based on the first power saving duration indicated in the DCI.

Terminal device, base station device, integrated circuit, and radio communication method

A terminal apparatus sets a first UL-DL configuration, receives information indicating a second UL-DL configuration via a physical downlink control channel, and monitors a physical downlink control channel with a C-RNTI, during an active time based on a first subframe which is set as a downlink subframe or a subframe including a downlink pilot time slot (DwPTS) on the basis of the first UL-DL configuration, in a second subframe which is set as a downlink subframe or a subframe including a DwPTS on the basis of the second UL-DL configuration.

Wireless communication method and device

A terminal device flexibly configures a time length of a first timer (a downlink hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) round trip time timer or an uplink HARQ round trip time timer) based on different application scenarios. A wireless communication method includes: obtaining feature information of a first air interface format and/or feature information of first transmission data; and determining a time length of a first timer based on the feature information of the first air interface format and/or the feature information of the first transmission data, where the first timer is used to indicate that monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) is not required within the time length of the first timer.

COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND RECEIVER

A radio communication technology that can achieve low latency, high reliability, and low jitter characteristics. A transmitter is configured to duplicate a packet and transmit the duplicated packets. The receiver is configured to receive the duplicated packets. The receiver is configured to transfer, to an upper layer in the receiver, a first packet that is a packet received earlier out of the duplicated packets. A transfer timing that is a timing with which the first packet is transferred to the upper layer includes at least one of: a reception timing of a second packet that is a packet received later than the first packet out of the duplicated packets; and a cyclical timing (Cycle time) corresponding to a transmission cycle of the duplicated packets.

Methods and Devices for Receipt Status Reporting

A method of receipt status reporting in a communication device, comprising configuring (S1) said communication device for periodic receipt status reporting by associating a first status report type with a value of a first reporting periodicity parameter and associating a second status report type with a value of second reporting periodicity parameter, said first status report type being different from said second status report type and said first reporting periodicity parameter being different from said second reporting periodicity parameter, and periodically (S2) sending receipt status reports of said first type according to said associated value of said first reporting periodicity parameter and receipt status reports of said second type according to said associated value of said second reporting periodicity parameter.
