The reference signal may be mapped, based on the frequency domain shift value, to the at least one RE. The wireless user device may receive the PBCH.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method and apparatus of transmitting uplink (UL) information and a method and apparatus of receiving UL information. In one embodiment of the present disclosure, the method of transmitting UL information comprises transmitting a reference signal using a first sequence; and transmitting UL control information using a second sequence; wherein a reference signal and the UL control information are staggered-multiplexed in frequency domain. With embodiments of the present disclosure, the uplink information can be transmitted in reduced uplink symbols so as to adapt for a proposed subframe structure with reduced uplink symbols and thus, the transmission latency can be reduced greatly.

Techniques for selecting PPDU format parameters

Techniques are described herein that illustrate a feedback system to configure various format parameters of physical layer convergence procedure protocol data units (PPDUs) transmitted across a communication link. A receiving device may determine a Doppler shift or a delay spread of a signal received from a transmitting device. The receiving device may determine one or more format parameters for a future PPDU based on the Doppler shift or the delay spread. The receiving device may transmit an indication that includes the format parameters for the future PPDU to the transmitting device. The transmitting device may modify one or more format parameters of a PPDU based on the information in the indication. In some cases, the receiving device may indicate characteristics of mid-ambles, a type of PPDU, a guard interval, high efficiency long training field size for a future PPDU.

A communication entity distributes subcarriers of a RU with a resolution of four times (4×) subcarrier spacing to generate a 4×EHT-LTF of an uplink (UL) trigger-based (TB) physical-layer protocol data unit (PPDU) with a dRU. The communication entity then transmits the 4×EHT-LTF for the UL TB PPDU with dRU.
