FACE RECOGNITION METHOD AND MOBILE TERMINAL
The present disclosure provides a face recognition method and a mobile terminal. The method includes: detecting whether a mobile terminal switches from a stationary state to a raised state; activating a camera and capturing an image by the camera, when the mobile terminal switches from the stationary state to the raised state; judging whether the image matches a preset face template; and determining that recognition is successful when the image matches the preset face template.
Portable terminal device executing an application in accordance with a selection made by a user
A portable terminal device (1) sets a security level for each application in accordance with position, and stores the level in a memory (102). The security level determines whether each application is displayed or made executable on a display portion (114a) in locked state and unlocked state. A control unit (101) refers to the security level and determines the application displayed on the display portion (114a) in accordance with position information acquired by a position information acquisition unit (GPS reception unit) (104), and makes executable the application selected by the user. Thus, the portable terminal device (1) offers user-friendliness while ensuring security strength.
Method and Device for Fingerprint Recognition, Terminal, and Storage Medium
A method and device for fingerprint recognition, a terminal, and a storage medium are provided, which belong to the technical field of information processing. The method is applicable to a terminal and includes the following. When a touch operation performed on a specified function widget of a current display interface of the terminal is detected and duration of the touch operation reaches preset duration, a fingerprint sensor disposed under a display area displaying the specified function widget is activated. Fingerprint information entered via the touch operation is collected with the fingerprint sensor. Security verification is performed on the fingerprint information. If the security verification of the fingerprint information passes, a function of the specified function widget is triggered.
Separating sensitive data from mobile devices for theft prevention
Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for separating sensitive data from mobile devices for theft prevention. According to one aspect, a system includes a data security platform and a mobile device platform. The mobile device platform can detect that the data security platform is connected. The mobile device platform can determine whether the data security platform is part of an authenticated pair with the mobile device platform. In response to determining that the data security platform is part of an authenticated pair with the mobile device platform, the mobile device platform can access at least a portion of sensitive data that is stored in a memory component of the data security platform. If the data security platform is disconnected from the mobile device platform, the mobile device platform cannot function or can provide limited functionality, such as a function to communication with a 9-1-1 service.
Method for Performing Biometric Feature Authentication When Multiple Application Interfaces are Simultaneously Displayed
A display method includes simultaneously running a locked first application and a locked second application on the electronic device; first displaying a first authentication interface and a second authentication interface, where the first authentication interface and the second authentication interface are simultaneously displayed; obtaining first biometric authentication information of a user by using a system authentication service by obtaining fingerprint information of the user; and displaying a first application interface in response to successful authentication on the first biometric authentication information, where the first application interface includes content displayed by the first application after authentication on the first biometric authentication information succeeds.
Method for Reducing Power Consumption of Mobile Terminal, Storage Medium and Mobile Terminal
Disclosed in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a method and a device for reducing the power consumption of a mobile terminal, a storage medium and a mobile terminal. The method may include: acquiring, in a screen-off state, a fingerprint detected by a fingerprint recognition module; controlling, if the fingerprint is a non-unlocking fingerprint, a touch chip to output a touch sensing control signal to a touch display screen; finding, according to the fingerprint, a matching application program on which the user has rights to operate, and acquiring a set of blank screen gestures corresponding to the application program; and reporting, upon detection of a blank screen gesture belonging to the set of blank screen gestures, a blank screen gesture event to an application layer to execute an operation corresponding to the blank screen gesture.
ELECTRONIC CLINICAL CASE REPORTING
A handheld device that has a user interface equipped at least with a display. The device provides a user with a home screen on a display of the handheld device by presenting one or more electronic case reporting questionnaires or links to one or more electronic case reporting questionnaires. The device starts an allowable interfacing application if not running already. The device provides the allowable interfacing application with such limited access to the user interface that a return key is reserved to be unusable by the allowable interfacing application and again provides the user with the home screen on the display of the handheld device in response to meeting one or more return conditions.
FOLDABLE DISPLAY DEVICE WITH BIOMETRIC SENSORS AND METHOD FOR DRIVING THE SAME
A foldable display device is disclosed and has a first display region, a second display region, and a foldable region connecting the first display region and the second display region. The foldable display device includes a first biometric sensor disposed in the first display region and a second biometric sensor disposed in the second display region.
Apparatus and method for automatically activating a camera application based on detecting an intent to capture a photograph or a video
A method of automatically activating a camera application implemented in a mobile device in locked mode starts with the processor receiving a first signal from an accelerometer. The device's processor activates the camera application when the processor determines that the mobile device has remained in a stationary portrait or landscape position for a period of time based on the first signal. Activating the camera application includes signaling by the processor to the display device to display a camera screen from a locked screen. The processor may also receive a second signal from a proximity sensor that detects presence of a nearby object to the mobile device. When the processor determines that there is presence of the nearby object to the mobile device based on the second signal, the mobile device remains in locked mode and the processor does not activate the camera application.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
A portable communication device (1) is capable of setting a sleep mode as an operation mode. An operation receiver (101) receives operations given by a user. A setter (102) sets the operation mode to the sleep mode when the operation receiver (101) receives no operation for a first time period. A displayer (103) displays an indicator on a display when the operation receiver (101) receives a first operation in the sleep mode. A launcher (104) launches, when the operation receiver (101) receives operations for specifying the indicator, an application program associated with the specified indicator.
