Object processing for imaging
The present subject matter describes processing of objects for imaging in an imaging system. In an example implementation, a visual image of a plurality of objects disposed on an imaging bed of the imaging system is generated. A visual image of the imaging bed divided into a plurality of imaging zones is generated. Each of the plurality of objects are identified within a respective imaging zone from the plurality of imaging zones. Each of the plurality of imaging zones are assigned a corresponding imaging operation, where the imaging operation is one of a scan&print operation and a scan-only operation.
Control apparatus, control method, and storage medium
Provided is a technique that enables efficient setting of poster printing and efficient processing of an image. To this end, a control apparatus of the present invention is a control apparatus that allows a printing apparatus to print multiple divided images, into which an input image is divided, on print media, including: a setting unit that sets the number of divisions of the input image based on user input; an obtaining unit that obtains a width of the print media; a determining unit that determines a scale factor of the input image based on at least the set number of divisions, the width of the print medium, and a width of the input image; and a display control unit that displays a preview screen of the input image and a processing instruction item for instructing processing of the input image together, in which in a case where processing of the input image is instructed by user operation through the processing instruction item, the display control unit displays a processed input image reflecting the processing based on the processing instruction, and the determining unit determines a scale factor of the processed input image based on a width of the processed input image.
Image processing apparatus, image processing method, and non-transitory storage medium storing instructions executable by the image processing apparatus having a shortcut function
An image processing apparatus includes a controller configured to: set a type of a reading-related function to a first type or a second type; when the second type is set, display a procedure-selection screen prompting for selection of a first procedure or a second procedure as an execution procedure after a start of image reading; set the execution procedure to the first procedure or the second procedure; and register the reading-related function having a setting processing, a reading processing, and a particular processing. In the first procedure, the controller displays a first preview screen containing the read image, and the image processing apparatus starts the particular processing when a particular-processing start instruction is accepted. In the second procedure, the controller displays a second preview screen containing the read image, and the image processing apparatus starts the particular processing without accepting the particular-processing start instruction.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes a selection unit, a switching unit, a layout unit, and an output unit and is to perform an object snapping function of laying out a new object in a spread page area by automatically aligning a position of the new object with respect to a layout position of an object already laid out in the spread page area. The selection unit selects an object as a selected object. The switching unit switches enabling and disabling of the object snapping function based on a user operation. The layout unit lays out the selected object in the spread page area by using the object snapping function in a case where the object snapping function is enabled. The output unit outputs album data including the spread page area in which the selected object is laid out.
COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing computer-readable instructions for an information processing apparatus is provided. The computer-readable instructions cause the information processing apparatus to obtain a width of an image-formable area, having a first side and a second side, on a sheet and object image data composing an object image; define a first partial image and a second partial image in the object image; and generate composite image data composing an image, in which the first partial image and the second partial image are arrayed in an arrangement such that a third side of the first partial image and a fourth side of the second partial image align along the first direction.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR INFORMATION PROCESSING, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus includes an arrangement unit and a display unit. The arrangement unit arranges an image in a page. The display unit displays, on a display, a page image indicating the arrangement of the image in the page by the arrangement unit. Based on that an image selected by a user is arranged in a plurality of pages, the display unit displays a plurality of page images, each indicating arrangement of the selected image in each of the plurality of pages.
Printing non-user patterns with a print job
The systems and methods presented here completely separate a non-user pattern from the user jobs being printed. In fact, depending on the number of images in the job and the number of patterns provided by the manufacturer or press operator, the patterns may appear on different images of the job each time the job is printed. This is because the image marks are generated and processed according to the configuration of ROUS, independent of the user jobs being printed.
STORAGE MEDIUM STORING INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
A set of program instructions, when executed by a controller of an information processing apparatus, causes the information processing apparatus to: display, on a display of the information processing apparatus, a scan result screen formed by sequentially arranging images of documents scanned by an image scanner at respective ones of MN display frames, the MN display frames including M display frames arranged vertically and N display frames arranged horizontally; display an insertion icon at a left-side position with respect to a center of a display frame in a horizontal direction, the display frame being one of the MN display frames; and in response to an operation of the insertion icon, control the image scanner to scan an image of a new document, and insert the scanned image to a position that is immediate left of the display frame corresponding to the operated insertion icon.
TERMINAL DEVICE, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORING DISPLAY CONTROL PROGRAM, AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD
A terminal device includes: a display unit configured to take a plurality of forms including a folded form in which the display unit is bent between a first display region and a second display region and an extended form in which the display unit is not bent between the first display region and the second display region; and a display control unit that controls display performed by the display unit. The display control unit causes a first image corresponding to an obverse side to be displayed in the first display region and causes a second image corresponding to a reverse side to be displayed in the second display region, when the display unit is in the folded form.
Information processing apparatus, control method thereof, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
There is provided an apparatus that executes a first control program plugged in to an application to cause a printer to print data generated in the application and a second control program to be executed when a printing instruction is made, wherein the apparatus comprises a setting unit which sets, using the first control program, a predetermined sheet size which can include the data in one page to the application, and executes margin deletion setting to the second control program to cause margin deletion, a margin deletion unit which generates print data based on the data generated by the application and included in the one page having the predetermined sheet size, and deletes a margin in the generated print data, and an output unit which outputs, to the printer, the print data in which the margin has been deleted.
