After that, a preview in which a page allocated to a first print medium fed from a first feeding unit is laid out on an image representing the first print medium and a preview in which a page allocated to a second print medium fed from a second feeding unit is laid out on an image representing the second print medium are displayed.

The systems and methods presented here completely separate a non-user pattern from the user jobs being printed. An image forming apparatus includes an image data acquirer, a display, an operation device, a storage, an image forming device, and a controller. When the operation device accepts a command to display the image in one piece of the image data from the list of the acquired image data, the controller causes the display to display a list of the images of all the pages in the one piece of the image data and to store the image of the page selected by the user from the images of all the pages on the list. The information processing apparatus functions to set a page count to be printed to one sheet and determines whether an object has moved in a first direction or a second direction that is a reverse direction to the first direction. If the object has moved in the first direction, reset the page count to increase the set page count, and if the object has moved in the second direction, reset the set page count to decrease the set page count. The information processing apparatus determines whether a conflict relationship is occurring between the reset page count and another print setting, and changes the another print setting if the conflict relationship is occurring.

The system further includes a scanning device communicatively coupled over a network to the cloud computing platform, the scanning device configured to: accept a set of documents; generate a set of digital image files corresponding to the set of documents; store the set of digital image files; and upload the set of digital image files directly to the cloud storage system. Upon receiving a request from the scanning device, the cloud computing application is configured to: access the set of digital image files; apply image processing operations to the set of digital image files in accordance with a plurality of image processing parameters, generate a portable document format document based on the processed image files, and send the portable document format document to a user-selected destination.

The method comprises generating a pre-printing image of a print media, generating the printed document, generating a post-printing image of the printed document, generating a validation image by comparing the post-printing image with the pre-printing image, and comparing the validation image with the source image.
