The system may receive a physical document that is to be converted into an electronic document, perform optical character recognition on at least a portion of the physical document to identify one or more terms that are present in the physical document, and store the identified terms in the data store associated with the scanning device. The system may receive input from a user that includes one or more first characters and corresponds to a title of the electronic document. The system may identify one or more terms from the data store that correspond to the one or more first characters by querying the data store using the received input, and cause the identified terms to be displayed to the user via a display device of the scanning device as suggested document names for the electronic document.

The method includes obtaining a keyword list by analyzing a file name of the data to be stored, searching for at least one storage folder having a folder name corresponding to at least one keyword included in the keyword list, determining one of the found storage folders, and storing the data in the determined storage folder.
