Device with linear slots for water drainage

A device with linear slots for water drainage is provided. The device comprises: a bezel covering a cavity and a microphone/speaker mounted therein, the bezel having outer and inner faces, the inner face facing the cavity; linear slots through the bezel between the faces, the linear slots being obliquely angled relative to an upright axis of the bezel; linear slats separating the linear slots at the bezel and forming sides thereof having dimensions selected to promote formation of water droplets thereon of a size which overcome water surface tension and flow out of the linear slots when the bezel is exposed to one or more of mist, rain, water and humidity; and one or more recesses at the inner face, adjacent to the linear slots, the one or more recesses to collect water from the water droplets as the water flows out of the linear slots.

Architectural speaker tuning system

The Architectural Speaker Tuning System is a sand-filled plastic reinforcing sub-baffle for an architectural custom installed loudspeaker mounted in drywall paneling. The mechanical acoustical resonance of the drywall distorts the sound of the custom loudspeaker. The speaker tuning system shifts drywall resonance to a more suitable frequency. The sand-tuned result revives the fidelity of the loudspeaker. The sub-baffle shipped empty, filled with sand provided by the installer, installs through the loudspeaker drywall panel cut-put, and adheres to the rear of the drywall. The custom loudspeaker is then inserted and clamped to the sub-baffle system.

Speaker with vented resonator

Aspects of the subject technology relate to electronic devices having speakers with vented resonators. A vented resonator may have a resonator chamber and a channel that fluidly couples a front volume of the speaker with the resonator chamber. A vent such as a barometric vent may be disposed in a wall of the resonator chamber that separates the resonator chamber from the back volume of the speaker. The barometric vent may thus allow airflow from the front volume to the back volume via the resonator chamber, and prevent fluid flow from the front volume to the back volume via the resonator chamber.

Speaker

A speaker includes a rubber cabinet, a driver, and a metal connection ring. The rubber cabinet is fixed to a case of an electronic device. The rubber cabinet accommodates the driver, and the metal connection ring is connected between the rubber cabinet and the driver. Moreover, the metal connection ring surrounds the driver, and the rubber cabinet surrounds the metal connection ring.

VOICE-CONTROLLED ELECTRONIC DEVICE

A voice-controlled electronic device that includes an axisymmetric device housing having a longitudinal axis bisecting opposing top and bottom surfaces and a side surface extending between the top and bottom surfaces. The device can further include a plurality of microphones disposed within the device housing and distributed radially around the longitudinal axis; a processor configured to execute computer instructions stored in a computer-readable memory for interacting with a user and processing voice commands received by the plurality of microphones and first and second transducers configured to generate sound waves within different frequency ranges.

AN HEADPHONE SYSTEM

An headphone system (100) with improved sound reproduction capability is disclosed. The system includes a housing (101); a receiver configured with the housing (101) and to receive audio signals from one or more computing devices; a control circuitry (108) configured with the housing (101). A frequency of each of the received audio signals is determined by extracting audio attributes from the received audio signals. Then the determined frequency of each of the received audio signals is compared with a predefined threshold. In response to the comparison, the received audio signals are segregated into at least two set of signals including a first set of audio signals and a second set of audio signals. The first set of audio signals is converted into a first set of vibration signal energy and a second set of audio signals is converted into a second set of vibration signal.

EARPHONE

The present disclosure discloses an earphone. The earphone may include a hook-shaped component, a connecting component, and a holding component. When the earphone is in a wearing state, the hook-shaped component may be configured to hang between a rear side of an ear of a user and a head of the user. The holding component may be configured to contact a front side of the ear. The connecting component may be configured to connect the hook-shaped component and the holding component and extend from the head to an outside of the head to cooperate with the hook-shaped component to provide the holding component with a pressing force on the front side of the ear.
