Coil component

A coil component includes a magnetic portion that includes metal particles and a resin material, a coil conductor embedded in the magnetic portion, and outer electrodes electrically connected to the coil conductor and disposed on the bottom surface of the coil component. The magnetic portion includes a magnetic base having a protrusion portion and a magnetic outer coating. The coil conductor is disposed on the magnetic base such that the protrusion portion is located in a core portion of the coil conductor. The magnetic outer coating is disposed so as to cover the coil conductor, and the height of the edge portion of the upper surface of the magnetic base is more than the height at the position at which the edge of the protrusion portion is located.

The magnetic base body is configured so that a peak intensity ratio is 2 or more between a peak intensity of a first peak and a peak intensity of a second peak in a Raman spectrum obtained by using an excitation laser with a wavelength of 488 nm. The first peak is around a wave number of 712 cm.sup.1, and the second peak is around a wave number of 1320 cm.sup.1.

Provided herein is a magnetic sheet. The magnetic sheet according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a magnetic layer formed of crushed pieces of a magnetic body to improve flexibility of the magnetic sheet, and a thin film coating layer formed on at least one surface of the magnetic layer to maintain the magnetic layer in a sheet shape and buffer an external force applied to the crushed pieces of the magnetic body. According to the present invention, since the magnetic sheet is improved in mechanical strength properties, such as a tensile property, a bending property, and the like, to have significantly superior flexibility, degradation of physical properties, such as magnetic permeability and the like, caused by physical damage such as unintended cracks in the magnetic body provided in the magnetic sheet can be prevented even in the process of storing, transferring, and attaching the magnetic sheet to a target object and during usage of an electronic device provided with the target object to which the magnetic sheet is attached, and the magnetic sheet can be attached to a target surface of the target object with a superior adhering force even when a stepped portion is present at the surface, and at the same time, the magnetic sheet can block the influence of a magnetic field on parts of a portable terminal device or a human body of a user using the portable terminal device, significantly increase transmission and reception efficiencies and distances of a data and/or wireless power signal, and maintain the above-described performance for a long period of time, such that the magnetic sheet can be widely used in various portable devices such as mobile devices, smart appliances, devices for the Internet of Things, and the like.

There is provided a method for manufacturing a soft magnetic member where a coating formed of an -Fe.sub.2O.sub.3 single phase having a high electrical resistivity is formed on a soft magnetic alloy substrate. A soft magnetic alloy substrate is heated in an atmosphere containing water vapor and inert gas to form a coating on the soft magnetic alloy substrate. The atmosphere has an oxygen partial pressure in a range of 0 to 1.5 kPa. A soft magnetic member including the soft magnetic alloy substrate and the coating formed on its surface can be obtained.

Provided are: a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet exhibiting excellent coating film adhesion and excellent magnetic characteristics; and a method for producing this grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet. This grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet is provided with a ceramic coating film arranged on a steel sheet, and an oxide insulating tension coating film arranged on the ceramic coating film. The ceramic coating film contains a nitride and an oxide; the nitride contains at least one element selected from the group consisting of Cr, Ti, Zr, Mo, Nb, Si, Al, Ta, Hf, W and Y; and the oxide has a corundum crystal structure. The Young's modulus of the ceramic coating film as determined by a nanoindentation method is 230 GPa or more; the average film thickness of the ceramic coating film is from 0.01 m to 0.30 m (inclusive); and the tension of the oxide insulating tension coating film is 10 MPa or more.
