Embodiments consistent with the present disclosure provide systems, methods, and devices for providing wound capturing guidance. In one example, consistent with the disclosed embodiments, an example system may: display, on a mobile device, a user interface configured to guide a patient through one or more steps for performing a medical action, the plurality of steps including at least: using at least one item of a medical kit; and capturing at least one image of at least part of the at least one item of the medical kit using at least one image sensor associated with the mobile device. The example system may also: detect a failure to successfully complete the medical action; select from one or more alternative reactions, a reaction to the detected failure likely to bring a successful completion of the medical action; and provide instructions associated with the selected reaction.
Devices, Systems, and Methods for Calibrating an Optical Measurement Device
An illustrative optical measurement device includes a light source configured to emit light pulses directed at a target of a user. The optical measurement device further includes a detector configured to detect arrival times for photons of the light pulses after the photons are scattered by the target. The optical measurement device further includes a processing unit configured to determine, while the optical measurement device is being worn by the user, an instrument response function (IRF) associated with the optical measurement device. The processing unit is further configured to generate, based on the arrival times of the photons at the detector, histogram data associated with the target. The processing unit is further configured to determine, based on the IRF and the histogram data, a property of the target.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ESTIMATING TARGET COMPONENT
Provided is an apparatus for estimating a target component, the apparatus including a temperature controller configured to modulate temperature of an object, a measurer configured to measure a spectrum for each temperature of the object that changes based on the modulation, and a processor configured to obtain effective optical pathlength vectors corresponding to a temperature change based on the spectrum for each temperature of the object, obtain a representative effective optical pathlength based on the obtained effective optical pathlength vectors, and obtain a target component estimation model based on the obtained representative effective optical pathlength.
Tracking marker support structure and surface registration methods employing the same for performing navigated surgical procedures
Devices and methods are provide for facilitating registration and calibration of surface imaging systems. Tracking marker support structures are described that include one or more fiducial reference markers, where the tracking marker support structures are configured to be removably and securely attached to a skeletal region of a patient. Methods are provided in which a tracking marker support structure is attached to a skeletal region in a pre-selected orientation, thereby establishing an intraoperative reference direction associated with the intraoperative position of the patient, which is employed for guiding the initial registration between intraoperatively acquired surface data and volumetric image data. In other example embodiments, the tracking marker support structure may be employed for assessing the validity of a calibration transformation between a tracking system and a surface imaging system. Example methods are also provided to detect whether or not a tracking marker support structure has moved from its initial position during a procedure.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM AND SUBJECTIVE OPTOMETRY SYSTEM
A first information processing device acquires an instruction signal for instructing an operation of a subjective optometry device, and transmits a drive signal for causing the subjective optometry device to operate as instructed by the acquired instruction signal to the subjective optometry device. When the first information processing device is remote-accessed by a second information processing device, the first information processing device can acquire the instruction signal input to the second information processing device by a user via a network. The first information processing device can further acquire a response input by an examinee who visually recognizes a presented target, and can further generate an instruction signal instructing the operation of the subjective optometry device based on the acquired response.
MODULAR SYSTEM FOR MULTI-MODAL IMAGING AND ANALYSIS
